Spring version using - Fall for you by Unity Ippity

Here is a quickie card I made for my mom.  She asked me to send her one of my cards and make it into a birthday card for a friend of hers.  I figured I couldn't very well send a card for her friend without sending one to her....so I quick put this together.  It's simple but it was quick.

I had fun making this card!  I used the stamp set FALL FOR YOU from Unity/Ippity that I won from the Ippity Chick Challenge#14.  You can see the randomly chosen winning card on my January 25th post and it's also the card that I sent to my mom so she could give it to her friend!!!

I am entering this card in "Outlawz Twisted Thursday"

PAPER: White cardstock, SU Whisper White, K&Co. DP

Stamp: Unity Ippity "Fall for You"

Valentine's

So in between bouts of vertigo I have been dashing off a few valentine's!!!!  Elisabeth chose the patterns.  Steve suggested the hunting paper and bright orange for the boys. Our Valentine's for the girls look more Spring-like then Valentine but Elisabeth did not want pink so this is what we came up with.

I had hoped to make a few more.....but I ran out of time.

Card sales for a project in Haiti

This past December the message theme at church was DO SOMETHING!  As practical application a couple of the needs were for water filters to provide clean drinking water and the building of health clinics in Haiti.  Elisabeth decided she wanted to make and sell her cards with the proceeds going to help in Haiti.  Here are a few pictures of cards she sold.

She has an Etsy shop and hopes to sell more.

Just a few photo's of Elisabeth walking/running her first race!  A group of 15 girls from her school are in a group called "Girl Power".  They trained after school for several months walking or jogging to get ready for the the 3 mile race benefiting Angel's House.

No Photo's please
