Speedy Fox & Friends - Torn Paper

Hullo there!  I hope you have had a good week.  I had a very special week as a stamping friend came to visit for a few days!  Hard to believe we didn't know one another three years ago and had never met in person before this week and now I have a new sister!  Janeen is not only a beautiful person with an eye for color and detail when it comes to paper crafting but she is also super talented in the kitchen and  cooked for us each night!  YUM.  I am so disappointed I didn't stop to take a few pics of Janeen in the kitchen!

We did get to stamp together a bit so in an upcoming post I will share a couple of photos of projects we created but for now it's time to turn our attention to this week's Speedy Fox & Friends challenge. This week we are adding torn paper to cards.  Check out all the details on the challenge and the beautiful projects the designers have come up with here at Speedy Fox & Friends challenge .

I had a lot of fun with this!  I am sneak peaking a new set (Mark's Finest Papers & Stamps a HC - Fairies) today.  The Fairies set will be one of the sets showcased in  Mark's Finest Papers & Stamps February blog hop next week so I hope you will check that out starting on Sunday!

I stamped the fairy then masked her and added the mushrooms (Mark's Finest Papers & Stamps a HC - Garden Art).  She is drawn perfectly to sit on these mushrooms!  For the last bit of fairy touch, I added glitter to her wings.

I created the inside of the card using the mushroom stamp that comes with the set and added the Sprite silhouettes plus the sentiment.

  3. Angiiiiiiieeeeeeeeee, this is so gorgeous. I love your beautiful paper and fabulous coloring. The inside of your card is beautiful, too. Oh, what fun, to meet a online stamping friend IRL. And a good cook, too. Some of my best friends are my online friends that I met IRL. I loved seeing the pictures. Thanks, so much, for sharing.

  4. How fun, Angie, that you added pics!!! LOVE them. That card photographed beautifully. All that shimmer on the wings showed up so nicely. I loved this card and glad you showed me how you added the larger mushrooms. What a great idea. I had such a fun time at your house. It went quickly but we can look forward to more reunions now. :)
