Not an April Fools Joke

(Affiliate links used when possible which means when you click a link and order from my link I receive a small commission without any additional cost added to you.  Thanks so much!)

I know it's April 1st but this Christmas Cheer is no joke!  It's the first of the month and that means it's time for a new SCS Fan Club Christmas Challenge.  We are creating our way through the year so that when December hits we are not scrambling for Christmas cards.

I stamped the Christmas Poinsettia Star in London Fog ink.  Next, used an Elegant Writer pen, a paintbrush, and water to watercolor the poinsettia.  I love watching what happens to the Elegant Writer ink when water touches it! Lastly,  the sentiment is from The Season of Giving but I masked off the top part of the sentiment leaving just Christmas Cheer.

With this card, I am also celebrating this week's Featured Stamper at SCS and the Holiday Florals VSN Challenge.

I would love to know if you create Christmas cards all year long.  Also, have you ever watercolored with an Elegant Writer pen?

Sending you hugs and healthy wishes!

  1. What a wonderful card Angie - no, I don't make Christmas cars through the year - just one batch towards the end of the year. I have not heard of that pen, but I love the results you have achieved on this card
    Stay safe
