Growing in Unity Day 2 & Giveaway

It's Growing in Unity Day 2!

Oh my!  Did I ever have fun with the Circle of Friendship set!  I tried my hand at wreath building for the first time and I am smitten!   This set is so versatile it can be used without building a wreath if wreath building isn't your thing.

I am also playing along in the Summer Playlist VSN.

Once again, I hope you will leave me a comment so that you will have another entry in the Growing in Unity prize drawing!  This time when you leave your comment let me know if you have ever "built" a wreath on a card.  Let me know if you used a wreath builder template or not.  And let me know if you enjoyed the process or if it was a one-time-only technique for you!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

  12. This is so very pretty! You did a great job building this wreath. I bought the wreath builder stencil and the Circle of Friendship stamp set to try this. I have only played with it once. I had a hard time with it. I do want to try again, though. Thanks for the inspiration!

  17. Angie you picked some fabulous colors for this gorgeous wreath. I have stamped small stamps into wreaths of my own creation, but did not have a wreath template to do it with. I bet that works really super!!

  26. Beautiful delicate wreath Angie - you, I have stamped a wreath using a home made template - and also using a light pencil line on another occasion. I also have a basic wreath stamp I can use as a 'frame' to add to, and a wreather die. That said, I don't often use wreaths on cards.

  28. Love your wreath card. I have attempted wreaths using template and it is lots of fun. Change stamps or colors can change look.

I love the genius wreath builder template! It makes it so easy! I had a blast hosting a wreath challenge at SCS in the last DTGD event. :)

  31. Love the vibrant meets earthy colour palette at work here. It's fresh, fun and all kinds of beautiful!

Great question! I have indeed put wreaths to work on various cards (and tags, etc) over the years. The most recent was on a springtime greeting I whipped up earlier this year.
