I paired the adorable kitty from the High Five stamp set by Pajama Crafter Stamps with fireworks and the sentiment from Yankee Doodle Day. My husband and I both adore kitties, so this playful image and the "Baby, You’re a Firework!" sentiment made the perfect combo for a fun card just for him. (Let’s be honest—I’m definitely the fiery one in the relationship! 😄)

Celebrating!

Yay! Summer is here! ☀️

This month at @PajamaCrafterStamps, we’re celebrating the 4th of July, dads, and summer snacks (hello, chips! 🧂).

I am featuring the adorable Yankee Doodle Day set on the Pajama Crafter Stamps blog 

Today’s stars: the fawn and eaglet (so cute!).🦌🦅 I created an evening scene using Memento Northern Green and Distress Ink Prize Ribbon. I opted for sparkling stars instead of fireworks on this card, joining in the celebration of this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoaststampers! Congratulations to Mary Ross!

Impression Obsession Theme Day - Red, White, and Blue

Hello!  It's Theme Day at Impression Obsession and this month's theme is Red, White, and Blue!  I had a lot of fun using the Candle Glows and creating a  fun background.  I added the Lg Candle, Happy from Birthday Words, Die Numbers, and Number Add-ons.  

I can't believe July 4th is almost here, it always makes me a little sad because to me it signals that summer is almost over.  It's not quite as sad now that my kids are grown.  Oh! I would almost be in tears on July 5th when my kids were school-age.  Now, I can just enjoy fun things like Red, White, and Blue Theme days!

Red, White, Blue

Aggh!  4th of July is next week!  How did it get here so fast?!  I am curious to see if I have the usual 4th of July blues.  Usually, on the 4th of July, I am so sad that summer is almost over and the kids head back to school but this year begins a new adventure as the baby of the family heads to college and an empty nest awaits.  I am kind of excited right now so we shall see how I feel next week!  

To celebrate the 4th I created a fun watery background with distress inks.  I die cut the Impression Obsession tag and stamped the tall candles.  Next, I watercolored the candles with distress inks.  Lastly, I stamped the red white and blue sentiment masking off the words and stamping them one at a time in their corresponding colors.  

Today I am playing along with the Featured Stamper Challenge at SCS.  Julee Tillman is our Featured Stamper and she is truly amazing!
