A Wonderful Life

**Affiliate links used when possible at no additional cost to you!**

Hello!  It's time for the February Fan Club Christmas Challenge at SCS!  We have a really fun theme for 2022.  I can't share what the theme is or how this card fits but you can find out by heading over to the Fan Club Christmas Challenge.

I can tell you what I used to create this card.
The branch is from my days as a DT with Prickley Pear Stamps.  The Pine Branch Die is still sold at Prickley Pear stamps and I love using it.  The bell is part of the Impression Obsession Small Bell Ornament set and lastly, the sentiment is It's a Wonderful Life also from IO.

May 1st Fan Club Challenge

Hello!  It's the first day of the month and that means it's time for a new Fan Club Christmas Challenge
I created layers simply by using masks and ink blending with LC Blender Brushes for today's card.  Then, I decided to pull out my Prickley Pear Stamps and dies for this card.  I have always loved this Pine Branch Die and it looks great in black.  Next, I die-cut the Ornament. After die cutting I placed just the negative in the MISTI then placed the Ornament stamp in the space to check for perfect placement.  Once I was happy with the placement, I put the ornament die cut into the negative (to hold it in place) and stamped it! Easy Peasy!  One thing that I always enjoy about Prickley Pear Stamps is that they create multiple stamp sets for their dies.  So the sentiment actually comes from Ornaments Set 2 and that set includes 4 more ornament designs!

I am also playing along with the Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge.  I found a beautiful long dress for color inspiration.  You can find the link to the photo in my SCS Gallery HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a lovely weekend!

March Fan Club Christmas Challenge

It's the first day of the month and that means it's time for a new Splitcoaststampers Fan Club Christmas Challenge!  I was telling my friend Janeen, that I was restless and wanted some new Christmas stamps.  She reminded me that I have a collection of Prickley Pear Rubber stamps and I immediately thought of this darling vintage lady.  I couldn't resist adding a touch of gray to her hair!  LOL!

Happy Friday and Happy March!

Vases and a sketch

Hello!  I am a little late with this post but the fun thing about playing in a Splitcoaststampers challenge is they never expire!

I created this card for Cathy's SC678 sketch challenge.  It's a great sketch offering lots of possibilities!

I am featuring all Prickley Pear stamps products on this card.  I stamped the flowers from the Spring Scalloped Circle stamp set and added a sentiment from the Scalloped Circle Oval 5 stamp set.  The vases are one of three dies in the Mini Vases die set.  I die cut three and colored them with Copics then popped them up.

A super easy but striking card for those days when life doesn't allow much time for stamping.

PPRS Monday Inspiration - Thank You with a Parisian Flair

It IS a happy Monday at our house!  Something I was dreading is behind me, the kids and hubby are home for a whole week, happy Monday indeed!

I hope you were able to stop by and see the new Spring goodies PPRS showcased during the Hop last week!  One of the many things I love about PPRS is that they continue to add new stamp sets to coordinate with existing dies so today I am sharing a new image from CLR033C Flourished Oval Sentiment.   It  coordinates beautifully with  PPRS-D033 Flourished Oval Die.  For a bit of embellishment I added a butterfly from

Thanks for stopping by today.
I hope you will visit PPRS Blog to view all the goodies my teammates dreamed up for you!

PPRS Spring Blog Hop Day 2!

Happy Valentine's Day and welcome to Day 2 of Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps Hop!

This is the beautiful prize package being offered for this Hop and all you have to do for your chance to win is comment on the blogs listed at the bottom of the posts (including mine) each day of the hop!  The winner will be announced February 23!

I thought this beautiful GG0209 Graphic Flower would be perfect to share on Valentine's day as it has three small hearts as part of the image!    The image reminds me of a zentangle flower without having to do the work of tangling!  :)  I can never quite get to the zen part of tangling because I try too hard to get the tangles perfect so this flower is my idea of fun and I get the zen from coloring!  :)  I used the new
DD0231 Happy Spring 3 and separated the sentiment. I couldn't resist adding the little butterfly using PPRS-D023 Mini Butterflies Die and CLR023A Mini Butterflies 2 Clear Stamp Set.

I couldn't resist adding the
