Let Freedom Ring - Pajama Crafter Stamps Release Day

🎆 Kickoff to Patriotic Summer — Let Freedom Ring!
Red, white, and crafty? Yes, please! The Kickoff to Patriotic Summer at Pajama Crafter Stamps is here, and I couldn’t be more excited about this bold and festive new release. If you're dreaming of stars, stripes, and sunny summer days, you’re in for a treat. Whether you’re crafting for Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, or just love that classic Americana vibe, this collection has everything you need to spark your creativity.

For my project, I reached for the Honor Valor Pride stamp set and let watercolor take the lead. I created a soft, expressive background, letting the pigment flow freely for that natural, heartfelt touch. The sentiment—“From every mountainside, let freedom ring!”—really spoke to me. It felt like the perfect message for this time of year: a celebration of freedom, unity, and pride.

This was such a joy to make, and I love how the message pairs with the elegant simplicity of the watercolor. It’s a reminder that even simple supplies can make a big statement.

Here’s a peek at the finished card:

To celebrate, our team is sharing fresh, fiery inspiration on Instagram—and there are giveaways involved! Be sure to check out all the amazing makes and see how everyone is bringing the heat with their patriotic projects. You might even score some goodies from the new release!

The full release is available now at Pajama Crafter Stamps!
Wishing you a season full of creativity, celebration, and star-spangled joy. 🌟

Happy crafting!

Peace on Earth - IO December Limited Edition Set Hop

**Compensated affiliate links may be used at no additional cost to you!**

Hello! Welcome to the IO December Limited Edition Hop!

This month's set includes three lovely winter scenes. The scenes could be used all winter long and not just for Christmas! I love it when we can stretch our stamping dollars! The set also includes four sentiments, one of which could be used all year.

To shop the Limited Edition Set, click HERE.

With this sweet winter scene, I made a mini slimline card using Stitched Slimline Layers and the sentiment banner from Stitched Tag#5. The background paper is from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pack.

For the next card, I didn't use any extras. I used the December Limited Edition set and the Winter Wonderland Paper Pack.

December 1st & 2nd, the Impression Obsession Team will share new projects with the December Limited Edition red rubber stamp set. You can find a daily list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog through the event.
Two lucky customers who place an Impression Obsession order during the Limited Edition Set release week (December 1st – 8th) will be chosen and will have a special Impression Obsession prize package added to their orders!

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks!

It's the perfect time to say Thank You!  It's my turn to host the Free 4 All Challenge and our theme is Thank You cards or Thanksgiving cards. I went with a thank you card.

I used the beautiful Desert Silhouette Duo stamp.  I love that this is a two-piece set.  I stamped off the background stamp once to give the lighter appearance.  I think the slim script sentiments are so pretty and add a bit of elegance to a slimline card.

If you are looking for a sale, the current IO Sale is Deer!  Deer images and dies are included in the sale with no coupon code required.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Watercolor Wednesday - A Lighthouse

Hello!  Here is my edition of Watercolor Wednesday!  We are painting lighthouses this week.  Since the tutorial uses a traceable photo to get us started, I figured why not use a stamp this week?  I have only two lighthouse stamps to choose from after stamping for 10 years. I would have thought I would have more!  LOL! I located both stamps which, I am proud of because I haven't used either one in at least 9 years.  I am sort of stunned that I was able to lay my hands on both stamps in a matter of minutes!  I settled on this image & sentiment from a Mark's Finest Papers set.  Sadly MFP is now out of business but I not only still have the stamps, but I also have wonderful friendships from my time on the DT.

To follow the video and join us for you to join us for the Watercolor Wednesday Challenge at SCS click HERE.

After I glued my painting to the card base, I placed the card in my Mini MISTI for perfect sentiment alignment.  This was a very relaxing and enjoyable practice.

A Smashing New Release from Picket Fence Studios

(Affiliate links used when possible which means when you click a link and order from my link I receive a small commission without any additional cost added to you.  Thanks so much!)

Happy Monday to you!  It's Monday and time for the December Picket Fence Studios Release!  There are lots to look at this time so we will hop right to it!
I really like the new Do Good Recklessly set.  It's just right for masculine cards plus it's not something you see everywhere which makes it a must-have for me. I love the bold sentiments and versatility as it works well for both feminine and masculine projects.   I paired it with Paul James Guy, (Coordinating Die) and the new SlimLine Grass/Floor/Waves stamp.

Next up, we have the new SlimLine Clouds stencil!  Oh, I just love it so much.  :) After stenciling the clouds, I used the Slimline Die Cutting System and cut a circular window, then stamped a sentiment from Do Good Recklessly.  ***Tip!  Keep the shapes that are made when using the Die Cutting System as they make handy layers for cards!***  Next, I added the grass from SlimLine Grass/Floor/Waves stamp and a bunny from Peach and Piper! (Coordinating Die).  Since we have Leaves for Flowers new this month, I thought it would be fun to add leaves and flowers for the cute bunny to wear on her head.  I used the Leaves Coordinating Die for quick and easy cutting! The leaves coordinate with the Beautiful Girl Flowers and their Coordinating Die set and make a sweet combination.  I think she looks adorable!  Even though 2020 has been weird for most of us, it's also given us a few benefits.  Life is good.

Next up, how about a little Walk in the Park!  I used the SlimLine Clouds stencil and the Corner Sun Stencil for the sky.  The Coordinating Die allows us to build fun scenes with 8 different park goers!

Impression Obsession Slim Scenes Blog Hop & Giveaway Day 2

(Affiliate links used when possible which means when you click a link and order from my link I receive a small commission without any additional cost added to you.  Thanks so much!)

Welcome to Day 2 of the Impression Obsession Slim Scenes Hop!  All of the details are listed below!

This card features the majestic Norway Spruce.  I stamped the tree then blended an inky blue sky around the tree.  I splattered the sky with water and dabbed off the splatter which gave a wonderful winter look to the scene.  I added vibrant Cardinals and the Merry Christmas Sentiment.

Next up is the gorgeous TreeLine Layers!  I stamped the longest Treeline stamp in the middle of my scene and then I placed the two smaller TreeLine stamps in such a way as to create a lake! Next, I ink blended the sky and lake. Lastly, I added a sentiment from Winter Greetings.

A list of all the participants can be found on the Impression Obsession Blog or you can head to your next stop, the amazing Anna Wight!

There will be THREE $25 Impression Obsession Gift Certificates as giveaways chosen randomly from comments on the Design Team blogs over the hop - so the more you comment through our Slim Scenes Hop the more chances to win! All comments for all of the event days will be open until Monday, November 2nd at midnight CT.

The winners will be announced on Tuesday, November 3rd.

All of the new stamps and dies are available now! You can find them all HERE!

I will be entering both cards in this week's Free 4 All Challenge at SCS.

Thanks so much for stopping by and good luck!

The Light

This week the Featured Stamper at SCS is Elizabeth.  She has a terrific gallery and makes multiples of cards at a time!  I am in awe of anyone who consistently makes multiples!  I found a gorgeous outdoor scene in her gallery.  You can find the link in my SCS card gallery.

The IO Mountain View stamp is one that I can easily make multiple cards in one setting!  The stamp really does all the work and it's a stunner!  All I did was ink up the mountain scene and then I added just a touch of sunny yellow and blue sky!  I stamped  The Light and then die cut the sentiment with the Deckled Tag. I wanted to show as much of the mountain scene as possible so I simply cut the tag to fit the sentiment.

Wishing you light and hope this week no matter what might come your way!
