Hi!  Happy December 23rd!  I hope you are finding peaceful moments during the busy holiday season.  We are sharing the week with our daughter and her boyfriend.  We are having a wonderful time making new memories!  We just made it back from a Light Festival and now it's time to check in with this week's Free 4 All Challenge.  We have chosen a Kraft and White Challenge.

Tag It! - IO Theme Day

Hello!  Today the IO team is creating tags!  I had so much fun with this month's theme.  I used an ornament die for my tags.

First, I created this cute ornament as it shows on the package.  This ornament die was super easy to work with!  This time of year, easy is a valuable commodity!  

Next, I created an elf using the same ornament set.  I added a few items from the Elf Outfit die set and punched a hole in the hat.  This created a whole new look!

Merry Watercolor Wednesday

Hi, it's my turn to host the watercolor challenge this week. December is always hectic, so an easy tutorial fits the bill!

I chose this tree from Impression Obsession and die-cut it.  I then placed the mask over watercolor paper.  I splattered the open tree area with a paintbrush but found a toothbrush worked best. 

I had a lot of fun with this.  I think it would be a fun activity to do with kids during the winter break!

Hi!  This month Impression Obsession's Product Focus is Cover-A-Card stamps.  Impression Obsession's Red Rubber Cover-A-Card images stamp beautifully.  Even the intricate designs stamp crisp without losing any of the fine details.  You can check out the incredible CAC selection by clicking HERE.

First, I placed the Tooled Leather CAC stamp in a MISTI.  Then I inked the stamp with Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron, and Seedless Preserves Distress Ink.  Next, I spritzed the inky stamp with water and stamped it on cardstock.  I love the way the colors played together on this.  The last thing I added was the Thank You sentiment.  This came together quickly since the background was already in my stash!

 Welcome to Day 2 of the IO Holiday Project Hop.

 Stencils are a quick and fun way to create a handmade greeting card! I ink-blended the Poinsettia in blue and green Distress Inks.  Next, I splattered water on the Distress ink before removing the stencil.  To add a little something extra to the sentiment from Glad Tidings, I layered a banner from the Crazy Stitched set. Since I don't have a stitched IO layer sized for the sentiment I hunted for something to use instead. The inside of the Stitched Frame Tag is a perfect fit!  I love finding different ways to use my supplies!

Winter Greetings - December IO Kit Hop

This image is wonderfully versatile.  It looks beautiful in tones of blue and pink for a frosty look.  It's just as striking in earth tones for a more southern winter look!
