Autumn in the Air - IO August Release & Giveaway Day Three

Boo!  Welcome to Day 3 of the IO August Release Hop & Giveaway!

Today I am showing off the new stencils!

Firstly, I used the new Web Stencil and inked it in my favorite color trio.  The ghosts and sentiment are from Spooky Day.  I added a bit of a shadow bubble by die-cutting a second Speech Bubble in black.

Next, up is the gorgeous Layered Leaf.  This is a set of three large stencils. The large size makes for a striking impact!  The sentiment is from the Still Fall For You set.

Getting Glazy on Picket Fence Studios Release Day!

Affiliate links used when possible which means when you click a link and order from my link I receive a small commission without any additional cost added to you.  Thanks so much!)

Hello and Happy Monday! Today is a fun Monday because the new Picket Fence Studios Release is here!  In celebration of the new Release, we are having a Hop!  Simply follow along with the list below and leave a comment on all of the blogs for a chance to win one of two prizes, details below!

Today I am focusing on new Slim Line stencils and Paper Glaze so here we go!

First, I used the Slimline Leaf Stencil and added both Jade Vine and Boysenberry Violet Paper Glaze through the stencil.  Once dried, I added a bit of ribbon and a sentiment from the new Dragon Fruit set.  It was after I removed the stencil on the first card that I noticed how much lovely glaze was still left on the stencil.  Since I used two colors, I could not scrape the glaze back into the jar so instead, I laid a fresh piece of cardstock over the glaze and gently rubbed the paper.  I was delighted when I pulled the cardstock up to reveal a very cool second print!  I love how the leaf looks and decided the sentiment from Weathering the Storm Together pairs beautifully with the "scars" on the leaf!  I finished off the card with fabulous Frozen Nutcracker Sequins Mix.

I had so much fun with mixing the glazes I decided to do it again this time I used the 6x6 Floral Stencil with the Artemisia Silver and Boysenberry Violet Paper Glazes.  The sentiment is one of the sentiments in the new Fancy Christmas Sentiments sets!  I love the fonts on the Fancy Sentiment sets!

For the last bit of inspiration, I am back with another Slimline card!

I used the new Slimline Broken Fence stencil and Jade Vine Paper Glaze.  The slimline size is just perfect for this darling dangling koala bear from I Wish We Could Hug.  I used the Coordinating Die for quick and easy cutting and then I couldn't resist a little Marigold Orange Paper Glaze through the Dashes Stencil on the balloon!  To add to the festive birthday feel, I tossed a few Spiked Cider Sequins onto the scene!

I hope you enjoyed my take on the new stencils and paper glaze today!  Follow THIS link to all of the new products in the Picket Fence Studios Store.  Also, in case you missed the big reveal of the newest and coolest Slim Line Die Cutting System here is a link!

We have a fun hop with the entire design team for you to visit.  Picket Fence Studios is generously giving away two $50.00 Shopping Sprees to the store so make sure and leave a comment to be entered to win!  Winners will be announced on the PFS Blog on Monday the 21st!

I'm Here for Impression Obsession Die-Cut Day

Affiliate links used when possible which means when you click a link and order from my link I receive a small commission without any additional cost added to you.  Thanks so much!)

It's Impression Obsession Die-Cut Day so I decided to use the new Autumn Leaves Die Set.  I dipped cardstock into watery ink and once dry, I die cut the leaves.  For the Woodgrain Frame, I started off with kraft cardstock and distressed the edges with dark ink.  Next, I splattered the frame with water.  The Woodgrain Frame Die is so cool as it embosses the grain at the same time as it cuts, unfortunately, I lost a little of the detail in my photo.  I stamped I'm Here directly on the card base and then framed it.

There is still time to add Tree themed stamps and dies to your collection at a discount just click HERE to shop!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Safely Trodden

It's Saturday and that means it's time for a new Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers!  As soon as I saw this sentiment I had to have it.  My husband is a backpacker and loves being outdoors so I thought it would be perfect for him.  This sentiment is also great for a Fall birthday!  I used the reverse leaves die and inlaid the gorgeous leaves.   I chose THIS photo for my inspiration.  The rug totally grabbed my attention.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to fit the beautiful midnight blue on my card but I was able to fit the rest of the colors in.

I hope you have crafty plans this weekend!  Maybe I will see you over at the Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge!

The products I used today are Impression Obsession and I have a coupon to share!

A New Challenge from Impression Obsession - Falling Leaves

I am always excited about challenge days at Impression Obsession because we get to see the designs Impression Obsession fans create!

I am a huge fan of clean and simple white space so this is a little different for me but I love how it turned out.  I used distress ink on both the card base and the crazy stitched layer.  Next, I splattered a bit of water and dabbed it off with a cloth.  It almost looks like paint splatters but it's not!  My wreath and leaves are the fabulous birch tree circle die set.  Lastly,  I finished off the project with the Thanks word die.

Die Cut Obsesson - Summer Leaves

It's always fun to see where die cuts will take me so I love Die Cut Obsession days at Impression Obsession!

Today, I am featuring a leaf die from the Serendipity Dies at Impression Obsession.  First, I die cut the leaves pattern from my white card stock panel.  Next, I tucked a previously made background behind the die cut.  Then, I added two more leaves to the bottom of the die cut from a stack of leaves I had die cut while playing around with a different design.   Lastly, I die cut the thanks and for the finishing touch added some itty bitty gems.

The IO team has lots of inspiration for you today so hop on over to the Impression Obsession Blog for links to all the participant's posts.
