How is it November 1st?

 Well, yikes! It's November 1st already. No, I am just not ready. But since it is November 1st, we have a new Fan Club Christmas Challenge.  

Last year, my daughter's future mother-in-law gave me lovely presents wrapped in this gorgeous paper. Being the saver I am, I couldn't part with it and tucked it away.  

I also used the Small Layered Bow and the Merry Christmas Die from IO. I LOVE die-cut paper bows. I am all thumbs regarding real ribbons, but paper bows do what it's told!  :)

Boo! A Treat for You at IO!

Festive Fall - Team Favorites

Hello!  

It's Team Favorites Week at IO. I chose the Sunflower Cookies and Cookie Plate as my favorite. I love all this sunny, happy yellow. I continued the yellow theme with paper from the Watercolor Pumpkins Paper pack. The sentiment is from In & Out 8.

Thankful - IO Theme Day - Give Thanks

Hi!

This week at IO, we are Giving Thanks. I am grateful for warm beverages and sweet conversations with friends and family.  

I had a wonderful time creating this card. I die-cut the Big Mug and then stamped the big flower from the Fall Gratitude set onto the mug. The sentiment is also from the Fall Gratitude set. I love making things with the color yellow right now.  The Crazy Stitched set is my go-to layering die.  I love the finished look with the stitching; the size is just right to show off some color behind it!

Life is Lovely - IO Oct Release & Hop Day 2

Hello! Welcome to day 2 of the October Release & Hop.  

I am still playing with Brushos. I love the intense color I achieved using the Maple Stencil. I placed the stencil over the cardstock, ink blended with Distress ink, then sprinkled Brushos and spritzed it with water. Presto, Fall leaf

 magic. The sentiment is from Wonderful Life.  

This next card features the new Turkey! He is such a cutie and very easy to put together. I used a patterned paper from the Watercolor Pumpkins Paper pack for his feathers and the background. The sentiment is from Turkey Sayings. I love the size of the Bread Tag to use as layers.

You are a Work of Art - IO Oct Release & Hop

Hello, and a warm welcome to Day 1 of the IO October Release!

Do you pick up an art medium you haven't worked with in a while and feel like you have rediscovered it? Recently, I  pulled out my Brushos Watercolor Powders and have had a blast seeing where they take me. I love the brilliance and explosion of color I have rediscovered with Brushos.  :)  I used this color background with the new Work of Art stamp set. I love "art" stamps, so this set will be one of my favorites. I stamped the cute girl on a Suit Tag die; the size was perfect.  

I once again created a Brushos background. The red took over more than I planned, but they are still beautiful. I die-cut the Simple Leaves from the background and placed them on twine. The sentiment is from Leaf Sayings.

We are headed to the corner for this week's F4All Challenge at SCS!  We are working in the corners of our projects this week.  :)  The challenges at SCS are free! I used the Edges 2 die to decorate my corners.  The lower corner has two pockets for the fun tags to snuggle into.  This kind of pocket card is crazy easy to make!

Scenic Paper & Word Dies for IO Product Focus - Dies

Hello!  

This month's IO Product Focus is Dies! My cards today feature new word dies.  I love how they take a project up a notch and add that polished look.  The word dies I am featuring today includes the bubble shadow background for extra versatility!

 I used the Winter Scenes Paper Pack on both cards.  The scenery is simply stunning. I am featuring the Peace Love & Joy die set and Edges 2 for the border for this card.

Most Wonderful Time

Hello!  

We are having so much fun at the SCS Fan Club Christmas Challenge.  We have been creating all year long and are ready with our holiday cards when December comes!  

I chose to feature this adorable Reindeer Mug!  I would love coffee, tea, or cocoa from a cute mug like this!  Here is what I used to create this fun card:

Time to Sit and Watch the Leaves - IO October Limited Edition Set Hop
