Sunshine and Rainbows

Hello!  I hope wherever you are the sun is shining and warming up your part of the world!  I am on the Picket Fence Studios Blog today featuring sunshine and rainbows so why not share here too!

First, is this super fun rainbow featuring the Slim Line Movement Stencil.  This is such a fun stencil as it gives the illusion of dimension!  I used the Slim Line Die Cutting System and cut 3 circles out to create space for a scene. Did you know that Picket Fence Studios has a brand new Slim Line Nested Rectangles Die Cutting System out?  It has four stitched layers, slimline label dies and four, word dies!  It's available now with no waiting for preorder or the next monthly release! I used the Cloud Coverage Stencil and LC Blender Brushes for the background. The image is from After the Storm, and the sentiment is from the Hello set.

I am entering this into what makes you happy challenge at SCS!  Don't throw anything at me, I LOVE rain!  I know I am weird but I love it.  I also LOVE clouds and bright colors and I love pink!  All these things make me happy.

For my next card, I inked up the beautiful Wave Sun Stencil with LC Blender Brushes.  Don't you just love the curling rays of this sun? I love the image of feminine hands raised from the BFF Favorite Hello Set.  When we come together from diverse backgrounds with love and care for one another nothing can stop us!  The sentiment is from the lovely Wild Peonies set.  Lastly, I sprinkled some Fire Gems!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you feel inspired to create sunshine and rainbows!

IO Theme Day - The Humblest Tasks

Hi!  It's Theme Day at Impression Obsession.  This month our theme is Be Crafty.  I chose Sewing Supplies as my crafty card not just because I haven't had the chance to ink it yet but also because it goes so well with this week's Art Nudge! I also really like the Humblest Tasks sentiment!  There are so very many boring tasks I do every day that can be considered beautiful if I have the right attitude!

To see all the great Crafty Themed cards the DT has come up with stop by the Impression Obsession Blog!

It Looks Like Cake and a Sale!

(Affiliate links used when possible.  When you click a link and order from my blog, I receive a small amount at no cost to you!  Thanks so much!)

I had a lot of fun creating this as it totally put me in the mind to celebrate!   I will say that this is one time, I could not capture the beauty of the background on this card.  I used Pink Carnation Paper GlazeYellow Primrose Paper Glaze, and Mint Hydrangea Paper Glaze through the Basket Petals Stencil.  The glazes are simply gorgeous and totally make me think of a birthday cake!  The script on the Happy Birthday die makes me think of icing.  Do we see a pattern here?  I think I am hungry for cake!  I finished the card with a sprinkling of Sequins.

Now through Tuesday at midnight Picket Fence Studios is having a site-wide sale! Just use the promo code: PRESIDENTS for 20% off!  Click HERE to shop!

Thanks again so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great week ahead!

The Most Amazing View

Hello!  It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Watercolor Wednesday Challenge!  This week we are doing an easy watercolor scene.  For a link to the tutorial, you can stop by the Splitcoaststampers Watercolor Wednesday Challenge HERE!

I was thrilled when I found this video because my husband's favorite place is the Smokey Mountains!  We spent a lot of nights in the woods enjoying sunsets after we moved to Georgia!

I decided not to put a sentiment on the front of the card but I stamped May Your Trails by Impression Obsession on the inside.  It's one of my favorite sentiments to give to my husband as he is an avid backpacker!

Also, Impression Obsession is currently having a sale on all Spring Florals!  Just stop by HERE, no coupon code needed!

A Miracle & a Giveaway

(Affiliate links used when possible which means when you click a link and order from my link I receive a small commission without any additional cost added to you.  Thanks so much!)

Hello!  Welcome to the Picket Fence Studios February Release Day!

Since today is also Valentine's Day, I thought I would start off with the lovely, Nothing Short of Amazing Stamp.  This is such a fabulous set with meaningful sentiments.  After stamping the beautiful girl, I ink blended around her with Life-Changing Blender Brushes. Next, I splattered her with Peony Pink Paper Glaze and Ocean Poppy Paper Glaze.

Next, we have two products I am super excited about.  The Sparks Cover Plate Die and the Fancy Congratulations stamp and Coordinating Die.  I just adore how the coordinating die hugs the stamped sentiment.  The Coordinating Die adds a little extra something to every card!  Lastly, I sprinkled some Ocean Breeze Sequins.  I think this is headed to a very special College Graduate who loves green.  :)

Next, up I used the new Slimline English Brick Stencil.  I had the idea of a bird on a brick wall so I googled it and found a gorgeous photo of a brick wall missing bricks.  The missing bricks were in a pretty open window design showing a view of a deep blue sky so I did my best to repeat the idea using the square from the Slimline Die Cutting System.  Instead of a deep blue sky, I created a cloudy sky with the Cloud Coverage Stencil and Life-Changing Blender Brushes. The sweet little bird is from the Song Birds Stamp set.  I cut him out with the Coordinating Die then perched him on the window ledge.  Next, I added a sentiment from Ways to Express Yourself.  This sentiment set has 26 ways to express yourself!

With this card, I am also celebrating this week's Featured Stamper, Linda (hotwheels).

I just couldn't help but squeeze in one more!  I adore the new Thank You die! The fancy script takes any design up a notch!  I added a bird with the Coordinating Bird Song die and Maple Leaves Die.  The background is the Slimline Basket Petals Stencil and Distress Oxide inks blended with Life-Changing Blender Brushes.

All of February's stamps, dies, and stencils are available now, just head to the store from HERE!

This month we are also celebrating on Instagram!  For a fun, Instagram hop with a chance to win a $50 Gift voucher head on over to @bowdangel!
