It’s Fine. Everything’s Fine. 🐰 - Handmade Card

 Hello, sweet friends!

Today I’m sharing a card that made me smile the whole time I was creating it. I’m featuring one of the darling bunnies from the Funny Bunnies stamp set by Pajama Crafter Stamps, and this bunny—in her oversized spectacles—completely stole my heart. There is just something about those glasses and those wispy little tendrils of fluff on her head that makes her absolutely irresistible!

What I’m really enjoying about this stamp set is how these bunnies can take on the sweetest, most unexpected colors. In my previous card, A Gold Medal Moment, I colored one bunny blue to coordinate with pretty floral paper—and it worked beautifully! These little characters truly shine whether you keep them traditional… or give them a colorful twist.

For today’s card, I went with soft browns and purples. The background was actually waiting for its moment. I had previously inked up the Woven Warmth Stencil by Pajama Crafter Stamps using Wild Honey and Villainous Potion inks and set it aside on my desk. When I saw it again, I instantly knew it would make the coziest, happiest backdrop for this sweet bunny. Sometimes the best designs happen when you “shop your desk.”

I stamped the bunny onto an arched layer and colored her in warm browns, then gave those funny fluffy strands of hair, her collar, and even her puffy tail a pop of purple to tie her right into the background. It adds just the right amount of whimsy and personality.

To frame her, I cut a slightly larger arch and inked it with Villainous Potion. That extra layer of purple creates a beautiful, cohesive frame that pulls everything together. I repeated that same layered look for the sentiment by stamping it onto an oval and matting it with another purple-inked layer.

The sentiment from the You Are set—“It’s Fine. I’m Fine. Everything’s ”Fine”—feels both humorous and encouraging all at once. We’ve all had those moments, haven’t we? Sometimes a little laughter (and a bunny in glasses) is exactly what the day calls for.

If you’d like to see how these bunnies look dressed in other colorful hues, be sure to check out my
A Gold Medal Moment card as well. It’s such a fun reminder that this set works beautifully beyond traditional coloring.

Be sure to stop by the Pajama Crafter Stamps store to see the Funny Bunnies stamp set, the Woven Warmth Stencil, and so many other delightful goodies.

Thanks so much for visiting today. 🐰💜

National Simplicity Day

This week for the F4All Challenge we are celebrating National Simplicity Day. On this day, we commemorate the birthday of Henry David Thoreau, a 19th-century American philosopher and naturalist. Thoreau thought that simplicity brought about reduced stress and increased productivity. So happy Simplicity Day!

For my card, I kept it very simple with the Slide Frame. To mimic the look of a slide, I colored Nola's beautiful image in a neutral brown. The image and sentiment are from the Love and Encouragement stamp set.

Peace, Watercolor & Jack O Kitty for Day 2 of IO August Release Hop

Hello! It's Day 2 of the IO August Release Hop! Today I am featuring new encouragement stamp sets and another Halloween card!

First up is peaceful Maidenhair Fern. The image is perfect for using unique markers that allow multiple color tones. I die-cut the panel with the Crazy Stitched Set.

Next, I again used the Maidenhair Fern with watercolor for a different look. I paired the fern with the giant moth from Gentle Moths.

Lastly, a Halloween card with the cute Jack O'Kitty stamp set and Jack O'Kitty Die. I used an Everyday Tag,  Scalloped Circles, and a circle from the Monster Face Die Sets to create a fun background. The patterned paper is from the Trick or Treat paper pack.

All three kitty sets are adorable and coordinate well; they are Creepy Kitty and Witchy Kitty.

August 15th & 16th The Impression Obsession Team will share new projects with the NEW clear stamps, dies stencils, and paper packs! You can find a daily list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog through the event.

Sitting in the Dark - IO Team Favorites Hop & Giveaway

Welcome to the Impression Obsession Team Favorites Hop & Giveaway!

I always enjoy creating with Nola's Impression Obsession Stamps so today I am sharing two.  My daughter was home this weekend and I wish I had tucked this one into her bag.  My daughter is a positive person and tackles life head-on but now and then we have coffee and she shares the hard things with me.

I played on the word "dark" in the Sit with You sentiment and added a dark border with one of the Trims. The sweet image is A Friend.

Another Nola made my favorites list this month.

I took the Stitched Tag #6 and cut it in half so that I could extend it since it isn't quite as large as my sentiment/image strip.  The sentiment is On My Heart and the cute little bird is Mourning Dove.

In the Pink with the IO Day 2 February Release Hop & Giveaway

Hello, welcome to day 2 of the February Release!  I hope you enjoyed the projects yesterday!

Today, I am featuring encouragement in pink! First up is this sweet image called Gotcha Covered.  I did a little paper piecing by stamping the Dress Pattern 2 on pink cardstock and then stamping the umbrella over the Dress Pattern.  Lastly, I added the Not Alone sentiment and gave the heart a little bit of the pattern treatment too!

Next up is the adorable Sock Kitty.  Don't faint, I fussy cut him! Haha! Not my favorite thing and especially not fun when your hand is raging from a fall but he looks pretty good, I think!  I stamped one of the new backgrounds, Tiny Polka Dots in the background.  Next, I added Get Well.  I am loving all the crafty dies and the medical dies this month!  I added the Stethoscope to the Sock Kitty.  The recipient will have to get well with all this cuteness happening!

Each day, February 1st & 2nd you can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog. We will be giving away THREE Impression Obsession $25 gift certificates for the event - so the more you comment through our Release Celebration the more chances to win!
All comments for each of the event days will be open until Tuesday, February 8th at 8pm CT All winners will be announced on Wednesday, February 9th on the Impression Obsession Blog.

A Season Away!

*Affiliate links used when possible with no charge to you!*

Hello! It's just a season away, hang on!

Shirley has invited us to create a card with the theme: Taller than You and Me for the Free 4 All Challenge. Mountains are definitely taller than me!

This was fun and easy to create.  The Snow-Capped Mountains create a wonderful landscape.  I added the Resilience sentiment and a bit of ink blending with my Life Changing Blender Brushes and done!

I am also using the Art Nudge #59 colors and the inspiration photo.  The inspiration photo is a compass which is needed if you are headed to the mountains!

Pictured below is what I used to create this card.  Clicking the photo will take you straight to the store where it's sold.

I'm Here for Impression Obsession Die-Cut Day

Affiliate links used when possible which means when you click a link and order from my link I receive a small commission without any additional cost added to you.  Thanks so much!)

It's Impression Obsession Die-Cut Day so I decided to use the new Autumn Leaves Die Set.  I dipped cardstock into watery ink and once dry, I die cut the leaves.  For the Woodgrain Frame, I started off with kraft cardstock and distressed the edges with dark ink.  Next, I splattered the frame with water.  The Woodgrain Frame Die is so cool as it embosses the grain at the same time as it cuts, unfortunately, I lost a little of the detail in my photo.  I stamped I'm Here directly on the card base and then framed it.

There is still time to add Tree themed stamps and dies to your collection at a discount just click HERE to shop!

Sending Comfort

(Affiliate links used when possible which means when you click a link and order from my link I receive a small commission without any additional cost added to you.  Thanks so much!)

The new Art Nudge on FB is up.  It's a new challenge open to every artist.  I happen to make cards so my art is in the form of greeting cards.

I love the colors in this nudge!  I stamped the Buffalo background stamp in black on blue cardstock using two of the colors in this week's color chart. A trio of 1/2 inch round buttons for the shapes in the photo prompt added because I love these buttons!  Lastly, Sending Comfort for a friend who lost her sister.

No photo description available.

This isn't really for the challenge but it does have blues and even blue polka dots.  I just feel like sharing it today so here it is!  This gorgeous hollyhock stamp covers an entire card with beautiful blooms and I used the I'm Sorry sentiment because I mean, really, it's been hard lately for most everyone!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
I hope you feel encouraged today by some bright moment in your day!
Hugs!
