Feline Happy

Happy Caturday!!!

Saturdays are my happy day.  I love hostessing or just joining in with the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers on Saturdays.  This week Anne has chosen Signals to inspire us for the IC643 challenge.  Right off the bat I found two fabulous kitty inspirations.  Funny thing I had a stamped image and stamp that was perfect for both inspiration pieces and they were both given to me by my sweet friend Jan.

I ended up choosing the Personalized Cat Print for my inspiration.

For my sentiment, I chose one from the Sophisticated Sentiments rubber stamp set by Red Rubber Designs.

This week Simon Says Stamp Wednesday blog is an Anything Goes Challenge with a showcase of Stampendous stamps.  This striking kitty is a Stampendous image called Feline Curious.

Love and Prayers

Happy Tuesday everyone!
Today I am playing in multiple challenges featuring a beautiful sentiment from The Project Bin.
I chose one of the encouraging sentiments from the Kinda Sorta stamp set and framed it with one of the frame stamps included in the set.

With my card, I am playing along with two Splitcoaststampers challenges.    Over the weekend Splitcoaststampers held a fun VirtualStamp Night event.  I was unable to play at the time but we have until 10pm on April 2nd to play along and upload our cards!  I am entering this card in Lisa's MAR18VSNL challenge to Pop it Up!  I popped up my flowers to meet the requirement of the challenge.

I am also celebrating this week's Featured Stamper Ponygirl2. I chose THIS card for my inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!!

Precious Baby

Brenda has chosen a wonderful site to inspire us this week for the IC642 Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.

I found inspiration in this pretty Draper and Euro Suitcases.

This card celebrates a very LITTLE life.  He was born just 2 lbs.  He is home now with mom, dad and sisters weighing just 5 lbs and thriving.  It was sweet to be able to see him and enjoy a fun baby shower thrown by his auntie!

I do believe this is my all-time favorite baby image.  It just tugs at the heart!  The image is A Mother's Arms designed by Angie Blom for Unity Stamp Co. and the sentiment is from a Phyllis Harris kit by Unity Stamp Co.,  Room In My Heart

He is Risen!

I have truly enjoyed every image in the Spring Zen stamp set by The Project Bin!  I simply love coloring the images.  I had so much fun with the tulips last week, I decided to use the same color combo on the cross this week.  I just love pink so why not indulge!

As with all of the sentiments from The Project Bin this sentiment has a gorgeous font and a beautiful meaning.  We might celebrate by getting dressed up, hand out candy and have a nice Easter lunch but the real reason we set this day apart is that Christ the Lord is RISEN!!!!!  Jesus didn't stay on that cross!!  He has risen!

John 5:24“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Now that IS good news!!!!

Stand Out!

I just love Saturdays!  It's the one day of the week, I get seven hours of sleep! At our house, most Saturdays begin slow and easy.  It's also my favorite day because I am one of the hostesses for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers! This week Stacy chose Aquarium of the Pacific to inspire us for the IC641 Challenge.

I chose THIS cool photo for my inspiration.
I found the perfect coloring page and colored just one frog bright blue.  The Dr. Seuss sentiment in Spencer's Set from The Project Bin was just the right fit for my striking blue frog.

Tulip Tuesday!

Happy Tulip Tuesday to you! Even though some states are still experiencing nasty weather we can at least dream of tulips and spring!

Today I am featuring the tulips from the Spring Zen stamp set by The Project Bin.  I just love this stamp set!  The sentiments are so pretty and I love coloring the images!

I stamped the tulip three times with Memento - Bamboo Leaves.  I colored the tulips with Copics.  In previous posts, I featured this set and colored the images with Chameleon Color Tones and I think I enjoyed that coloring process more than with the Copics. If you happened to miss them you can view them Here and Here.  I finished this spring card with one of the beautiful sentiments included in the Spring Zen stamp set.

For my card today I chose THIS card of Denise's to CASE (copy and share everything).  I loved her card when I saw it on The Project Bin blog so I was super excited to CASE it!  I kept Denise's layout, used floral paper as she did but kept my card to just the white, yellow and gray.  I added a doily behind my focal image. I ended up leaving off the flowers because I didn't have any that looked right.  I stamped the sentiments just as Denise did but I dropped the "I" in the "I love you" sentiment because this will be from all of our family.

It was such a pleasure to be able to CASE Denise's card.  It made for a quick and easy card.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look today and don't forget to go shop!!! :)

Deer Mom

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!  This blog post almost didn't happen today because my computer could not load those goofy microsoft updates and decided it had been asked one too many times and faded to black!!  Our local library to the rescue along with a little help from my cell phone and the owner of The Project Bin, I get to share a brand new stamp set by The Project Bin despite a dead computer!  Technology definitely has its ups and downs!!!

This sweet  Deer Mom stamp set is a super sweet set celebrating mom!!!  The set includes 10 sweet sentiments in beautiful fonts that The Project Bin is known for as well as a gorgeous deer image!

This pretty deer reminded me of some of the gorgeous watercolor designs I have seen of animals with flowers around their heads so I stamped and colored the deer, then die cut some leaves and flowers.

I used the CAS(E) This Sketch CTS#261

for my design and changed the square to a circle for my sweet deer.

Rolling Through the Holidays

It's the first of the month and that means a new Fan Club Christmas Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers!

I fell in love with Love Bug Christmas kit from Unity Stamp Co. as soon as I saw it!  It reminded me of a crazy childhood Christmas memory.  We lived in Montana and my dad decided that we would go out and cut down a Christmas tree and bring it home on top of our VW Bug.  My dad, the original Clark Griswold (bad luck and all).  My mother assures me that this wasn't as dumb an idea as you might think.  She tells us that the VW Bug could go anywhere in any kind of weather.  It wasn't the least bit afraid of snowy roads.  Unfortunately, snow banks were a different story. Somehow my dad backed into a huge one.  It was a bit dicey for a bit.  It grew dark and not a soul in sight.  This was in the olden days you know, before cell phones.  Eventually, my dad placed a treasured baby blanket underneath the tires for traction and managed to get us out.  If you were wondering...nope we never did bring home a tree instead, my sister and I have an adventure we won't ever forget and I collect VW Bug images with trees on top!  :)
