More Picket Fence Studios Release Day Goodness
Hello crafty friends! Yesterday was the Picket Fence Studios January Release Day and today I am over at the Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing a couple of new Release cards so I thought I would share them here too! This release is so huge that you are going to have to check it all out HERE at the store! But before you go, I have a few samples to share with you!
I have another slimline to share only this time I have switched the orientation. For the background, I have stamped the 4x4 Falling hearts and then I added a top layer using circles from the Slim Line Die Cutting System. I made a faux shaker by simply adding a sprinkle of Green Fairy Sequins to each circle. I die cut the new Always sentiment out three times and stamped LOVE from Wild Peonies. Wild Peonies only a beautiful floral set but it also has wonderful sentiments too. Lastly, I have my card resting on the new Slim Line Neutral envelopes!
There is so much more to see! I haven't even touched on the new Gem Mixes, the 1 oz jars or half the new stamps and dies so for a look at the entire January Release stop by HERE.

Friday with Alice
Hello, everyone! I am up on the Picket Fence Studios Blog today featuring sweet Alice! I think Alice is delighted that it's Friday and she has started celebrating by listening to her favorite mix!
I created an interesting background with the Geo Squares Stencil and LC Blender Brushes. I colored Alice then I used her Coordinating Die to cut her out. Next, I stamped a flower and leaves from Beautiful Girl Flowers and die cut them with Coordinating Dies. I really like PFS Coordinating dies because they save me so much time when creating cards AND they are sold already separated, no metal cutters required! You know, I love PFS Sequins so I sprinkled a bit of Razzle Dazzle and that was it!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you feel inspired to create something this weekend!

Hi, everyone! It's time for a new Inspiration Challenge! Julie has chosen a site with lots to inspire our crafty hearts!
I found THIS photo on Pinterest and right off I knew what I wanted to do!
I spent the weekend at Lydia's October Virtual Retreat. We had so much fun! We Zoomed half the time and took classes on FB via LIVE events. I feel like I made a whole batch of new friends and learned a lot too! So, I didn't completely follow the directions on my card because this was my second attempt. First, we used tape to mask off some lines. Then we stenciled the background and I chose the Slim Line Rainbow Stencil. This is where I diverged from the lesson. We are actually supposed to take a pen and draw lines so that the white-masked pathways seem to be above the stenciled pattern below. Sadly, my hands are just too unsteady and my black pen lines went everywhere, EVEN though I used my trusty ruler. Therefore on this attempt, I decided to go without the pen lines.
Now back to the inspiration photo! When I saw the bright colors and the white lines, I thought, "I have a card partway done for that"! I decided to cut a square out of the card front using the new Picket Fence Studios Slimline Cutting System. Then on a white layer, I stamped the cute umbrella duo from After the Storm and colored them. I adhered all the layers and then I added Screwdriver Sequins Mix. I just love Picket Fence Studios Sequins Mixes because they can have unexpected colors in the mix. Who would have guessed that this mostly orange mix would include these cool blue reflective sequins?!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you will join us for the Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge!

Stencil, Sparkle and Shine
(Affiliate links used when possible which means when you click a link and order from my link I receive a small commission without any additional cost added to you. Thanks so much!)
Hi everyone! Today I am over on the Picket Fence Studios Blog plus I am hosting the Free 4 All Challenge at Splitcoaststampers! For the Free 4 All Challenge, we are using black on our cards plus sparkle/and or shine.
I thought it would be fun to show the versatility of the Picket Fence Studios Floral Stencils. So, first up, I turned the Floral Slimline Stencil into a Christmas card by simply adding the Merry Christmas sentiment from Baby It's Cold Outside. I used a reverse stencil method by blending blue distress ink over the cardstock with Life Changing Blender Brushes (also sold as a bundle) then I placed the stencil onto the cardstock and blended black ink through the stencil. I added sparkle with Glitter Paper and then tossed Gin and Tonic Sequins Mix from about 6 inches in the air and glued the sequins onto the card where they fell! (I learned that trick from Lydia!)
Next up, I used the 6x6 Floral Stencil to make an A2 Christmas Card. This time I stenciled the new Artemisia Silver Paper Glaze through the stencil. I added a sentiment from Inside Christmas Quotes and then finished off the card with Gin and Tonic Sequins plus Black Russian Sequins Mix.
I love the versatility of the Floral Stencils as they can be used for any occasion including Christmas!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I would love to see your creation on the Free 4 All Challenge!

Dare to Get Dirty
Today is the first day of Dare to Get Dirty Week at Splitcoaststampers! Here are the three cards I uploaded to the first day's challenges.
I am hosting a Challenge today but we keep the challenges secret as a special thank you to the Fan Club Members so I can't tell you what the challenge is. If you are a Fan Club member you can check out my challenge HERE and if not stop by HERE for all the details! I came up with the idea for this card when I searched this week's Inspiration Challenge. The Pink Chair was totally inspired by one of the pins!
For the first Challenge of the week, I used the adorable Suzi twice, and then I added the die-cut sentiment from Love Words.
I added glam and drama to the first card with amazing Picket Fence Studios Sequins! First, I watercolored the adorable Your Friend Dear stamp set. The sky needed a little something extra so, I added clouds over the top of the watercolor with the Layers of Clouds Stencil and Life Changing Blender Brushes (Also sold in a Bundled set).
