Let Your Worries Wash Away

 Hello, creative friends!

Today I’m sharing a calming coastal card that features one of my favorite designs from the Nantucket Sea Escape Paper Pack by Pajama Crafter Stamps. This paper is so stunning, I couldn’t bear to cover it up—so I made it the star of the show by framing it as the focal point of my card.

The deep, moody blue shells captured in the paper feel like they’ve been plucked straight from a dreamy seaside stroll. To elevate the relaxing beach vibe, I paired the scene with a perfect sentiment from the Sea You Soon stamp set:
“Let your worries wash out with the tide.”
Ahhh. Can’t you just feel the waves rolling in?

Summer Fun

Hello!  I am having summer fun with the Beach Fun set and coordinating dies.  I tore a piece of paper and masked off a sandy beach, then I masked a straight line for the water horizon.  I decided to layer the Whimsical Scalloped tag and the sentiment banner for a little something different.

This is also for Beverly's fun "Stacked DTGD Challenge"!  Beverly has asked us to pile it on.  I had glanced at Kelly's challenge to make a tag so that is where my card began.  Next, started stacking!

This year is a fun year for DTGD as it's the 15th Anniversary.  As a gift to the paper craft community, the challenges are open to all and that means a chance for a prize is also open to all!  We hope you will join us!

Enjoy the Summer - June Release Hop Day 2!

*** Affiliate links used when possible at no charge to you!  Thanks so much for your support! ***

Welcome to the Impression Obsession June Release Hop Day 2!

Enjoy every moment with this beautiful Beach Chair set!  I framed the image with the Rectangle 6 in 1 Frames Die set. Then stamped the umbrella a second time and paper pieced it over the framing.

An ocean breeze sets the mind at ease!  For this card, I left the beautiful Enjoying the View image in black & white and created an ocean scene with Distress Inks.  I sure would love to be where she is right now!  :)

Picket Fence Studios Release Day and Romance!

(Affiliate links used when possible which means when you click a link and order from my link I receive a small commission without any additional cost added to you.  Thanks so much!)

Hi!  It's time for the new Picket Fence Studios Release!  There is so much to love in this release!  Without meaning to I have a bit of a romance theme going on today. A mixed media heart, a wedding cake and a vacation spot!

First up is this amazing You or Wifi island set.  I added puffy clouds with the beautiful Layers of Clouds Stencil.  I love this stencil because of all the different ways I can create clouds.

Next up is the new wedding set, To The Lovely Couple.  That cake!  Oh my!  I had so much fun coloring this yummy cake.  The color combo was chosen for a special wedding I am attending later this year.  I hope they love the card as much as I enjoyed creating it for them.

And lastly, I went mixed media with the amazing Spliced Heartfire Burst Stencil.  First, I added gesso to mixed media paper.  Then I rubbed gelato over the front.  After it was dry I stenciled Golden Rose Paper Glaze. Once the glaze was dry I went around the heart stencil with a scribbles crayon (thank you Ceal for giving away the prize you won at Retreat, I am enjoying the Scribbles!) I activated the crayon with water and once that was dried I added some distress ink and sprinkled it with water.  Lastly, I added just the word "faith" from a sentiment in the Exhale Worry set.

I have included this in the Free 4 All Challenge at SCS.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
