Fall Colors

Hello, today is the day we set aside at SCS to celebrate a fellow stamper.  This week's Featured Stamper is Natalie.  She makes cards with gorgeous patterned papers but what really struck me was the way she makes multiples!

For my card, I used the background stamp Sunflowers instead of patterned paper.  I chose colors that I wish I would see on a fall day!  I would love to see a riot of bright pink falling from fall trees!  I added the Fall sentiment, a little piece of ribbon, and enamel dots to finish the card.

You can also shop HERE for all the new items at IO!

Thanks for stopping by; you make my day!

If you like the Sunflower background stamp you might like these as well.

Double Trouble

**affiliate links used when possible at no extra charge to you**

Hello!  For the Free 4 All Challenge this week we are seeing double!  We have chosen 2 main focal points as the challenge.

This was a fairly easy card to make.  First, I stamped Hang in There and colored it.  Next, I masked the image and blended Distress ink around the frame.  I added the bat from Halloween Shapes (which is currently on sale)! Lastly, I added googly eyes.

Thanks for stopping by!  Everyone is welcome to play along with us at SCS so I would love to see you there!

PS, if you haven't hopped the Team Favorites there is still plenty of time to comment for a chance to win!  Click HERE to head over to the HOP.

Also, if you like the Halloween Shapes they are included in the current sale!

IO September Favorites Hop & Giveaway

Hello, and welcome to the September Team Favorites Hop!

This is the week we get to share some of our favorite stamps for the month!

We will be giving away THREE Impression Obsession Grab Bags - so the more you comment through our Favorites Hop the more chances to win! Comments will be open until Monday, September 20th at midnight CT. All winners will be announced on Tuesday, September 21st on the Impression Obsession Blog.

I had great fun setting the stage for these dancing skeletons on fright night! This card is also for Art Nudge #75. Check the end of the post for all the links to items used on this card.  Or click HERE to see what's new for September!

I was on a roll with my color combo this month and dressed this sweet girl in pink and blue instead of witchy colors.  I really had a great time creating a border with the stars by stamping twice on the top portion and then again on the lower portion.  Check the end of the post for all the links to items used on this card.  Or click HERE to see what's new for September!

Here is what I used for this project.  I went with the less expensive, Canson watercolor paper but this is my favorite paper:

So Sorry

The CAS Challenge at SCS is "Repeat, Repeat".  My repeat, repeat is the repeating sequins.  I love creating a CAS card and I have new stamps to use so I carved out just a bit of time this afternoon.  The stamps are Precious Kitty's Creations by Jan, a sweet friend at SCS! I didn't even realize she created stamps.  You know I absolutely fell in love with this cat stamp she gifted me.  I added "I am sorry" from another stamp set by Jan.  I never enjoy creating when I am sad so this will do in my stash for when it's needed.

I couldn't help thinking about our Little Bit as I created.

Scaredy Cat

Hello!  Whenever I am able, I like to celebrate other stampers; the Featured Stamper at SCS is a great way to do this.  This week we are celebrating Lois! She has a lovely gallery filled with beautiful layered designs.

For my card, I took an inky background from my stash and heat embossed Stars.  Then I built up the sky with more ink until I was happy with the color.  I stamped and die cut a cat from the Cat Trios and bat from the Bat Trios.  The coordinating dies leave a white line around the silhouettes so, I decided to layer the bird branch in white and black to give a more cohesive look to the design.  I also cut off the bird from the branch.  :)  I have listed all of the products used at the bottom of the post.

If you have not hopped the Impression Obsession Sept. Release there is still plenty of time to hop and comment for a chance to win. You can find Day 1 HERE and Day 2 HERE.

If you like ghosts then IO has a sale for you!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Best of all you don't have to wait to shop! The September Release is available HERE with no waiting!

New this month is the fabulous Cardboard Box Die.  I am going to be using this often!  It's super easy to create a fun box with loads of possibilities.  You know that my first thought was filling it with green-eyed kitties!  The kitties are from the Black Cat Love set.

I used the Cardboard Box Die again with the super fun Monster Set and Monster Set Dies. One little guy is diving headfirst into the box from a Rounded Corner Sentiment Die.

For this card, I used the new Stitched Coffin Die and heat embossed Skeleton 1 which is one of the five new skeletons this month!  Don't forget to look at your die sets when creating!  I found the skeleton hat and rose in an unlikely place, the Birdies Dies set!  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Witch Sayings Set.

With this card, I am also playing along with this week's Art Nudge.  The Art Nudge is open to everyone and all art mediums so come join us!

Make sure to stop by all of the DT blogs and leave a comment for a chance to win!  If you lose your place you can stop back by the Impression Obsession Blog!
Today's hop list:
