Rainbow of Color for IO Theme Day

Welcome to Impression Obsession Theme Day!  This month’s theme is Rainbow Colors!

I die cut the Rectangle 6 in 1 Frames in rainbow colors and then colored the Hello Rainbow to match.  Easy Peasy!

I am also playing along with this week's Art Nudge #57.

Have fun checking out what the Designers have made with today's theme on the Impression Obsession Blog.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope your week is going well!
Hugs!

For my first card, I brought back the darling Sitting Gnome from last month and gave him a sunny background using the gorgeous Tooled Leather Background Stamp. He picked a Flower Cart Flower just for you!  Lastly, I stamped Happy Wishes on the Loopy Tag

My next card is another sunny yellow creation!  I stamped the adorable Rainbow Sun, colored it, and added the Rise and Shine sentiment.  I framed it with the Large Frame Die in bright yellow and added flowers in the corners from the Flowers & Leaves Die.

There are so many lovely designs this month including new Slim Sentiments and Slim Scenes!

I watercolored the beautiful Slim Scene Dogwood and then added the Happy Birthday sentiment from Everyday Sentiment Set.

Next on the hop is the super talented Anna Wight!

Thanks so much for "hopping" with us this week!  ALL of the new stamps are available now!

Sunshine and Rainbows

Hello!  I hope wherever you are the sun is shining and warming up your part of the world!  I am on the Picket Fence Studios Blog today featuring sunshine and rainbows so why not share here too!

First, is this super fun rainbow featuring the Slim Line Movement Stencil.  This is such a fun stencil as it gives the illusion of dimension!  I used the Slim Line Die Cutting System and cut 3 circles out to create space for a scene. Did you know that Picket Fence Studios has a brand new Slim Line Nested Rectangles Die Cutting System out?  It has four stitched layers, slimline label dies and four, word dies!  It's available now with no waiting for preorder or the next monthly release! I used the Cloud Coverage Stencil and LC Blender Brushes for the background. The image is from After the Storm, and the sentiment is from the Hello set.

I am entering this into what makes you happy challenge at SCS!  Don't throw anything at me, I LOVE rain!  I know I am weird but I love it.  I also LOVE clouds and bright colors and I love pink!  All these things make me happy.

For my next card, I inked up the beautiful Wave Sun Stencil with LC Blender Brushes.  Don't you just love the curling rays of this sun? I love the image of feminine hands raised from the BFF Favorite Hello Set.  When we come together from diverse backgrounds with love and care for one another nothing can stop us!  The sentiment is from the lovely Wild Peonies set.  Lastly, I sprinkled some Fire Gems!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you feel inspired to create sunshine and rainbows!

Rainbows After the Storm

Hi, everyone!  It's time for a new Inspiration Challenge! Julie has chosen a site with lots to inspire our crafty hearts!

I found THIS photo on Pinterest and right off I knew what I wanted to do!

I spent the weekend at Lydia's October Virtual Retreat.  We had so much fun!  We Zoomed half the time and took classes on FB via LIVE events.  I feel like I made a whole batch of new friends and learned a lot too!  So, I didn't completely follow the directions on my card because this was my second attempt.  First, we used tape to mask off some lines.  Then we stenciled the background and I chose the Slim Line Rainbow Stencil.  This is where I diverged from the lesson. We are actually supposed to take a pen and draw lines so that the white-masked pathways seem to be above the stenciled pattern below.  Sadly, my hands are just too unsteady and my black pen lines went everywhere, EVEN though I used my trusty ruler. Therefore on this attempt, I decided to go without the pen lines.

Now back to the inspiration photo!  When I saw the bright colors and the white lines, I thought, "I have a card partway done for that"!  I decided to cut a square out of the card front using the new Picket Fence Studios Slimline Cutting System.  Then on a white layer, I stamped the cute umbrella duo from After the Storm and colored them. I adhered all the layers and then I added Screwdriver Sequins Mix.  I just love Picket Fence Studios Sequins Mixes because they can have unexpected colors in the mix.  Who would have guessed that this mostly orange mix would include these cool blue reflective sequins?!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you will join us for the Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge!

Old is New and More Dare to Get Dirty

Today is Old is New Day at Impression Obsession!  Most of these older stamps are new to me and I love them! I heat embossed the Spyro stamp and then popped up the sentiment which is from the Journal Jargon 7.

It's also the third day of Dare to Get Dirty at Splitcoaststampers so here are the cards, I created as samples.

This was inspired by Polly's Dare to Get Dirty Challenge.

Make sure to stop by the Impression Obsession Blog to see what new project the designers have created just for you!

I was inspired by LuvLee's Dare to Get Dirty Challenge for this card and I am also playing along with this week's CAS Challenge!
Here is what I used:
And there is Wink-of-Stella on the rainbow but you really can't see the sparkle.

My last card is for Misti's fun Dare To Get Dirty Challenge.
For this card I used:

I just want to say thank you for stopping by even when there isn't a GIVEAWAY!  I appreciate your comments so much!  So I have decided to do a Giveaway!  I have a small collection of never used and gently used stamps and stencils.  I am going to split up the items and draw two winners!  All you have to do is comment on my Dare to Get Dirty Posts!  I started posting on August 22nd and the last day will be the 28th.  Leave a comment on any or all of the posts by August 31st.  The more days you comment the more chances to win!  I will post the winners on Saturday, Sept 5th so make sure to stop back by so I can get your info!
