Prickley Pear Monday Inspiration - El Gato

Happy Monday everyone!

I have a Prickley Pear Inspiration card to share with you today.

I randomly stamped the background to create my own DP then colored both the flowers and El Gato with the same colors.  I couldn't resist adding bats to keep El Gato company!  The cat is one of four scary cats in the CLR017A Scary Cats 2 stamp set. Last week I shared the Cheshire from the same set.

Speedy Fox - Zen

Happy Saturday! 

  This week at  Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge we are creating zentangles with our stamps!!!  

I used the small petals from Mark's Finest Papers a HC - Hydrangea set.  I stamped several images and then tangled them.  I chose my favorites to use on today's card.

 I have had a Saturday MFP post for a couple of years so it's with some sadness that I have decided to step away from a weekly MFP challenge.  I am happy to say that I am not leaving all together...just moving over to the biweeekly Inspiration Challenge.   I will see you Thursday with a card inspired by a beautiful photo.

Prickley Pear Monday Inspiration - MAD about you!

For today's Prickley Pear Rubber stamps blog inspiration I used CLR017A Scary Cats 2 for both image and sentiment.  

To finish off the card I die cut a pink flower using PPRS D012 - Flowers Die Set and added the sentiment.

Speedy Fox - Masculine

Happy Saturday! 

 I hope you had a great week.  At our house the week just flew and here we are enjoying another Saturday!  This week at  Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge we are creating masculine cards with the color: Navy.  I will admit when all is said and done this appears a bit more Royal Blue than Navy but my intention was navy!!  

I am going to sneak this card into my Dear One's backpack in a few weeks.  He will be heading out on another Fall solo over night hike.  He's so brave!  Once a upon a time I used to go backpacking with my hubby but the last time I backpacked our 17 year old was 2!

I used the large sentiment stamp from Mark's Finest Papers a HC: In Tents as my focal point and colored in the little images with colored pencils.

Prickley Pear Monday Inspiration - Candy Cane Snowflake

Happy Monday to you!!  I hope you had a restful weekend and are all set for a good week!  

I am starting my week off with a bit of Prickley Pear goodness!  My team at Splitcoaststampers won the spot for CAS DT and it was Janeen's turn to choose a challenge.  She challenged us to create a clean and simple card with crumpled paper.  I had so much fun creating my CAS card for SCS that I had to create another for Prickley Pear Monday Inspiration!

I used  PPRS-D038 Snowflake Pendant Die , CLR038 Snowflake Inserts Clear Stamps for both cards.  I can't get enough of this super pretty snowflake die paired with the Snowflake Inserts!  The Snowflake inserts offer countless possibilities!!!

Speedy Fox & Friends - County Fair

Happy Saturday!!!  I hope you are having a great weekend!  I am going to enjoy a live simulcast with Beth Moore today so I am very much looking forward to all that this day holds!!  Before I head out I wish to share with you this week's  Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge.  We are creating "County Fair" cards this week.

Candy Canes for Janeen

Happy Friday!!!!  Woohoo, we have come to the end of another busy week!

I am sharing a card with you today in celebration of Janeen the new Queen for the Day at Splitcoaststampers QFTD challenge!

I had so much fun with this challenge.  First I chose the  House Mouse Candy Gram stamp that Janeen sent me last year. Next I found this card in her SCS gallery to loosely CASE then I set to work coloring!  I decided to color with one of the first coloring mediums I ever used: Colored Pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits.

PPRS Monday Inspiration - Trees

Happy Monday!!!  I hope you had a great weekend!

Today I am sharing with you the versatility of  Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps HH0168 Funky Forest stamp!

For my first card I created a fun Fall evening with  HH0168 Funky Forest and spooky bats from CLR017A Scary Cats 2 adding a  PPRS-D045 Flourish Die as the finishing touch.

For my second card I went from Fall to Christmas adding my own funky twist by going with nontraditional Christmas colors. I used the same general layout as I did the fall card but added "Dec 25th" sentiment from CLR038 Snowflake Inserts.

Speedy Fox & Friends - Friendship/Glitter

 Hello and happy Saturday to you!!!  

This week's challenge at  Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge is to create a Glittery Friendship card.  

Some might remember that back in July, I had the pleasure of meeting fellow MFP teammate, MariLynn for the first time.  We had so much fun getting to know each other and exchanged little goodies!   I shared her gifts to me on a previous post (Here) and this is what I created for MariLynn, including the matching envie the card is balanced on and some wood veneers!

Today I am going to switch gears...(yesterday's blog) hehe...see what I did there?

I am making the leap from Fall to Christmas with today's creation.   I enjoy creating Christmas cards all year so I was delighted when this cutie arrived!  I colored FF0178 Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer while chatting with my mom on the phone.  I fixed a coloring booboo ( I colored the harness in yellow and it did NOT look good!).  To finish off the harness I added gold pearls.

 I used the  new CLR038 Snowflake Inserts and  combined two of the stamps to create this fun sentiment tag! The stamps are designed to fit into the new Snowflake Pendant Die, which I will be featuring on my blog soon!

Today I am sharing CLR025B Steampunk Gears 3 which coordinates with PPRS D025 Steampunk Gears Die Set!   I love that PPRS  releases new stamp sets to coordinate with existing dies!!!  I was able to use the small gear from PPRS D025 Steampunk Gears Die Set  with the small gear image and I used the large die as a mat for the sentiment.  

The details on the dragonfly is amazing!

Our new release includes several feline images so I am sure it will come as no surprise that I chose "HH0166 Halloween Scribble Kitty" as my first card to share with you.

This is such a fun image to color!  Scribble's scarf is fluttering in the Fall breeze and Mr. Pumpkin is enjoying his feline friend.
