Happy New Year!!! Welcome to the first blog hop of 2013! We are so excited to share the great stamp sets we are releasing this month and the months to come.

The special stamp set we have for you this month is:
" OH Baby"

The mini stamp set we have for you this month is

"Not So Ugly"

Welcome to day one of Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co. blog hop!  Our stamp set today is "Fantastic Dogs".  I have two cards to share today.

For the sentiment I used the "word" collage stamp and masked off everything except for the words "Best Friend".

For the inside I took the "word" collage stamp and made my own background paper.  Here's one of the fun things about working with paper and ink.  At the top right corner I didn't press evenly so I didn't get a full impression.  I could have left it but by adding my "white space" for my note and signature at the top, not only do I add a little interest to the inside but I covered up the little section that didn't receive a full stamped image and no one's the wiser....well...except for you now!!!

My second card was inspired by the post on fb by my nephew mentioning that his dog, Crash turned 3 last week.  I took the sassy sentiment "no bones about it!" "You're Old" and left off the "old" and placed a chipboard "3" and viola!  We have a birthday card for 3 year old Crash!

A simple inside.  The Happy Birthday sentiment came from MFP a Heinrich Co. "Wild Horses"

Thanks for looking!  I hope you will keep hopping and commenting so you can see all my teammates fabulous creations and have a chance to win today's release!
