Mark's Finest Papers Inspriation Challenge - Unusual Snowman

Hello and welcome to Inspiration Time with MFP!

Shirley has given us three COOL (ummmm, no, I didn't actually plan the pun but now that it's there I am going to leave it.) unusual snow people photos to inspire us this week.

The third photo is what gave me my starting point.  The blueish, purplish tones in the background of the photo reminded me of a background I had created some time ago and never used.  The first photo captures the texture of snow so I thought I'd have a little mixed media fun and give my snowman from Snow Gifts  some textured snow to sit in.  I used modeling paste and added glass beads for the snowbank.

I hope you will head over to Speedy TV to play along with the inspiration challenge this week and see the                                             fabulous projects my teammates have created!

TFL!

  1. I love this pretty snowy scene. (mind you it is pretty when it is on a card, not in my yard) :) I like how you used the modeling paste and added the beads. That looks great and I also like the sky with the water droplets. You do such a good job with mixed media.
