Hello, friends! Before I started my Red Rubber Designs card for today I checked the Splitcoaststampers "Ways To Use It" challenge: WT557. Sabrina is challenging us to "mark the fact that on this day in 1990 Sir Tim Berners-Lee, with help from Robert Cailliau, published a formal proposal for the World Wide Web" by creating a card showing a form of communication. I am wayyyy behind on my Christmas cards so I did a little combining.
Are you wondering how my violin ties in with Sabrina's challenge to show a form of communication? Violins produce music and music is a powerful form of communication. Lovers choose "our song" to commemorate their relationship, teachers use music to help students remember information, praise music or hymns communicate worship, etc. Now thanks to the world wide web we can share music instantly with one another via social media and private messages. So there you go, all tied together for Sabrina's challenge! :)
I love stretching my stamps and using them in different ways so I took the beautiful Violin Collage stamp which is not a Christmas stamp and featured it as my focal point. It looks beautiful for Christmas surrounded by snowflakes and a "Merry Christmas" sentiment from the Vintage Santa stamp set.
Now go put on some music and create something pretty!
Vintage Santa
