Well..........I have never made a scrapbook page before. I have purposely stayed away from scrapbook layouts because of the many steps. Much to my surprise this project came together pretty easily and really didn't take much more time than making a card! I hope you will give this week's challenge a try whether you are an expert scrapper or a novice like me!!!! You can check out all the info and lovely designs the DT have created HERE.
Before we had kids my husband and I would take almost 2 weeks in the Fall for a combo trip of backpacking, camping and 3 days in Pigeon Forge! We can't do that anymore but we did squeeze in four days in early October this year for a Smokey Mtn/Pigeon Forge trip! A drive up to a trailhead in the Smokeys took us by a bear sleeping in a tree and several more foraging in the woods next to the car! We hiked the Clingman's Dome trail which is where the photos of the kids and my husband were taken and to top it all off we went to Dollywood. Our son went on his first roller coaster rides and still isn't sure if he really liked them!! Even though it was rainy and cool on our little vacation it was truly a magical trip I won't soon forget...and now thanks to our FOSTV challenge I have created a memory page to keep it all fresh!
To make this page I used the leaf stamp from MFP a Heinrich Co. "Autumn Glory" and the letters "F-A-L-L" from "Autumn Splendor" . TFL and have a great week!!!
