The special stamp set we have for you this month is:
"Winter Scenes"
Welcome to MFP a Heinrich Co's last day at the hop!!!!! Today's release is awesome with soooooo many ways to use this stamp set. My first project is a set of note cards. I am not sure if this set is going to be a gift or if I am going to use them myself for notes!
I was able to cut three cards size 3 1/2 x 4 1/4 from an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of MFP Premium white CS. The music panels were cut 1 3/4 wide. I added some pretty lacey borders with a Martha Stewart border punch and embellished!
In case I decide to keep them as notes for my use, I embellished each card to correspond with the date I will need to send a note to my daughter's chorus teacher.
December's embellishment is a snowman ornament. I folded back the cord on the snowman so it can be popped off and used. Fun find: I picked these up at Hobby Lobby in the "mini Christmas Tree" section. They are sold 6 to a pack and at half off they only cost me about 16 cents each!
January has a snowflake....where we live...snow? Probably not...but a fun embellishment anyway.
February has .....hearts of course!!!!
My last card is a Christmas card for my husband! I found this cute wooden banjo while we were in TN this October. I stamped the holly using the small holly stamp from"Holly Jolly Greetings".
I ran out of time so I couldn't work on the inside of the card but I am going to put a black silhouette of a cat on the inside. Our little Storm runs upstairs and plunks herself down to listen when my husband plays his banjo!!!!
I just wanted to give you another view of this terrific stamp. This is the stamped panel before adding the rest of the items to the card. What I love about it is that I no longer have to search for just the right music sheet to match my project, I can make my own! I can't wait to try a die cut from one of my own stamped music sheets!
Thanks so much for choosing to spend some of your time with me this week! If you pop back tomorrow I will have inspiration for this week's Speedy Fox & Friends challenge!
