Thank you!

It's Saturday and that means it is time for a new Inspiration Challenge at SCS.  This week we are headed to a Pinboard with Inspiring tables!  The pins are amazing and make me think of fancy Easter table settings. I am overall inspired by the linens but I found THIS pin. The cup in the center made me think of a gem!

I used the gorgeous Fancy Flourish stencil and my Life Changing Blender Brush (also sold in a bundle with a free stencil).  Next, I added a sentiment from this beautiful sentiment set.

I hope you have a happy weekend and thank you for stopping by today!

Leap into Love

(Affiliate links used when possible which means when you click a link and order from my link I receive a small commission without any additional cost added to you.  Thanks so much!)

With Leap Day tomorrow how about leaping into love with a couple of cats?  They are amazing leapers!
I am also participating in the Free 4 All Challenge at SCS with my birds!

I created a salted background and then created a window with the nine-patch die!  I used the twig from this set for a tree branch.  Added sweet birds and two curious cats.  My cat loves sitting at the window for hours watching birds!  Lastly, I added a die-cut sentiment with a sentiment set.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is Anything Goes and this week they are featuring Impression Obsession products and I have a card for that!

If you have a pet I would love to hear where they love to hang out!
Thanks for stopping by!

A Sketchy Heart

On the list of my favorite things is Splitcoaststampers!  It's sort of like that first love feeling but we haven't broken up!  :)  I have mentioned it before but I have learned pretty much everything I know about stamping because of SCS!  There are so many great ways to utilize SCS, far too many to list here but one of my favorite things is the Daily Challenges.  On Wednesday it's Sketch Challenge Day so here is my take on today's sketch!

I made own gingham patterned paper which is another of my favorite things! It's so easy to tailor the background perfectly to my needs and I will never run out!  Win, win!  For the focal point, I used the double resist heart. It can be stamped as is or sprinkled with water as I did with this card.  Lastly, I added a sentiment to let you know that YOU are my favorite!  :)  You really are!  I appreciate your stopping by!

Spring has Sprung at Impression Obsession

I am excited to share cards today featuring new Spring Dies from Impression Obsession!

First up is a card that I created for the SCS CAS Challenge - It Leaps.   I had so much fun creating this bunny wreath card! I brushed a hint of Distress Ink on the new
and on the older favorites,
Whimsical Tag (grab this while you can it's on sale!)

Next, I used the darling Chick Frame.  It's so cute and there are two other new frames, the Bunny Frame and Lamb Frame!  I once again used Small Tags for the Easter sentiment but this time I also added a button from the fun Half Inch Button die.  Lastly, I placed the cute Chick Frame within the Large Frame.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and don't forget to check out all the fun projects the IO Design Team has created with the new Spring dies!  A list of participants can be found on the Impression Obsession Blog!

Miss You!

Miss You!  It seems I am always missing someone these days! Oh, don't get me wrong, I love the season I find myself in.  I love spending time with my husband alone!  It's so nice not to have to consult several people when we decide where we want to go and what we want to do.  However, I do feel sad and MISS my kids for at least a whole day when they leave after a brief visit. This is where I find myself today actually!  I had a lovely weekend with my girl and now I am missing her.

I am participating in today's Featured Stamper Challenge and found a fabulous mixed media card by Shelly!  I took out my stitched die-cuts from Impression Obsession.

Mark your calendars and stop by tomorrow as the Impression Obsession DT features brand new Spring Dies!  Oh, they are so sweet!

Wise Words on a Tee Shirt

It's Saturday and that means that not only is my girl home for a visit but it's time for a new Inspiration Challenge at SCS!  This week Amy is taking us to a Tee Shirt online store!  I found a lot to inspire me but I settled on THIS Tee.

I kept a similar shade for my card as the Tee.  Then I grabbed my 2 1/2 Circle and randomly placed it on my cardstock layer.  Next, I took a Life Changing Blender Brush (also sold in a bundle with a free stencil)and brushed around the outer edges of the inner circle mask.  I kept moving the circle and brushing around the outer edges until I was happy with the background.  Next, I added the Hello word die.  I think the round-edged shadow layer with the scripty font word dies from Picket Fence Studios are so striking!  And Lastly, I added the charming little tweeter (with bundled coordinating die) and perched him on the word die.

That's it for me!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Tag You are It! A New IO Challenge!

Tag, you're it!  The new Impression Obsession Challenge is to use a tag!  You can add it to your card like I did on my first project or it can be a stand-alone tag like my second project!

I am not sure why some cards are so easy to create but I sure am happy when it comes together like this one!  Even now it makes me smile!  The background was created by first inking the Bloom Everywhere Solid stamp and spritzing it with water.  Next, I created a tag with Stitched Tag #4.  I stamped the adorable Chickie Tutu and Hey Chick.  So bright and cheerful, sure to bring a smile!

I am also playing along with this week's LOVE word game for the WT780 Challenge at SCS.

Next, up is this super yummy Stitched Tag created by first stamping the Mini Gingham pattern then die-cutting.  I added the Small Love Pie and did you know there is also a Large Love Pie for larger projects! Next, I added the fancy script To and From (Greeting Set) so I can address the tag and give it away with a treat!

Now it's your turn!    Everyone is welcome to play, simply use your Impression Obsession dies and stamps!  You can find all the details on the Impression Obsession Blog.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
