Just One More Chapter - Handmade Gift Set

Just One More Chapter–A Cozy Handmade Card & Bookmark Gift Set

There’s something a little magical about getting lost in a good book… and today’s project celebrates that feeling in the sweetest way.

Today I’m wrapping up my time as a Guest Designer for Creative Worship Stamps, and what a joy it has been! I’ve had so much fun creating with the book-themed stamps, photo accessories, and cozy living room elements. It’s been a month full of creativity and comfort—truly a perfect combination.

For my final project, I wanted to create something special for fellow book lovers—a coordinated handmade card and bookmark gift set using the Read More stamp set.

Card Process

I started with a piece of cheerful yellow patterned paper for the background. It instantly sets a cheerful tone and feels like sunshine on paper.

Next, I die cut a stitched layer and stamped a charming stack of books. I colored them in a soft but playful palette of peach, teal, and bright yellow. To finish the scene, I added a cozy yellow cup perched right on top—because every good reading session needs a warm drink nearby!

The sentiment, “Just one more chapter,” felt like the perfect finishing touch. (Because let’s be honest… it’s never just one more chapter!) A few enamel dots add a bit of texture and polish without overwhelming the design.

Bookmark Process

To coordinate with the card, I created a matching bookmark—such a fun way to turn a card into a thoughtful gift set.

I used the same yellow patterned paper for the reinforcement circle at the top to tie everything together. Then I stamped the sentiment “So many books, so little time” and added the same stack of books, colored to match the card perfectly.

A Gift from the Heart

This bright and cheerful set makes such a thoughtful handmade gift for any book lover. It’s simple to personalize too—just swap out colors, papers, or sentiments to match your recipient.

Card making like this is such a meaningful way to share creativity. A handmade card paired with a matching bookmark turns a small gesture into something truly special.

I hope this project inspires you to create your own cozy, book-themed gift sets!

Read, Relax, Restore, Repeat – Cozy Handmade Card

There's something so comforting about a quiet moment with a good book—and today’s handmade card captures that feeling perfectly. Read, Relax, Restore, Repeat is more than just a sentiment… it’s a gentle reminder to slow down and savor the cozy moments.

For my third post as Guest Designer for Creative Worship Stamps, I mixed the Let’s Get Cozy and Picture This stamp sets to create a scrapbook-inspired design filled with warmth and charm.

The Process

I began by stamping two instant photo frames from the Picture This stamp set. On the first frame, I stamped the sentiment: Read, Relax, Restore, Repeat. On the second, I added a stack of books from the Let’s Get Cozy set—because nothing says "cozy" like a pile of good reads.

Next, I worked on the film strip element. After masking off the edges, I stamped the adorable mugs from Let’s Get Cozy into the frames. For the center frame, I kept things light and fresh by adding just the greenery from the plant image.

To bring in a playful, handmade touch, I created my own “Washi tape” using stamps from the Picture This set. I stamped three strips in lime green and added them across the frames and film strip to give the look of a layered scrapbook page—this was such a fun step and really brings the design together!

Patterned paper inspired my color palette, featuring soft lavenders, vibrant fuchsias, calming blues, and a pop of lime green for contrast and energy.

To finish the card, I stamped the sweet, stretching cat from Let’s Get Cozy and tucked him at the edge of the photo frame with the books—adding just the right amount of personality and charm. A few sequins and gems complete the design with a bit of sparkle.

Inspiration & Challenges

I’m participating in Weeks #744–#745 of Word Art Wednesday (Anything Goes). The inspiration for this challenge is a meaningful scripture from the Epistle to the Colossians 1:14, which makes this project even more special.

Make It Your Own

This design is easy to adapt using your favorite stamps, patterned papers, and coloring techniques. Try different color palettes or swap out the images to create your own cozy theme.

Card making is such a wonderful way to share creativity while sending something heartfelt and handmade. I hope this project inspires you to carve out a little creative time for yourself.

Get Cozy with Creative Worship Stamps as Guest Designer

Getting Cozy with Creative Worship Stamps | Guest Designer Feature

I am absolutely thrilled to be Guest Designing for March with Creative Worship Stamps! When I saw the Let’s Get Cozy stamp set, I instantly fell in love with all the sweet details—the comfy chair, stacked books, warm mugs, and of course, the darling pets.

For this handmade card, I created a cozy indoor scene using masking and fussy cutting techniques to layer all the elements together.

The Process

First, I stamped the gorgeous chair and colored it in a rich green-blue shade to anchor the design. I wanted it to feel warm and inviting, so I colored the blanket draped over one arm in bright pink tones for a cheerful pop of color.

Next came the masking. I carefully masked off the chair so I could stamp an end table behind it. Once revealed, it created a perfectly layered look. On top of the table, I added a couple of piping hot mugs of coffee—because what’s a cozy corner without something warm to sip?

To bring in even more personality, I stamped, colored, and fussy cut a stack of books and popped them up near the blanket. Then I added the sweetest finishing touch: a darling pup and kitty, fussy cut and placed on a fluffy pet bed on the other side of the chair. They look completely content, and honestly… same.

Creating this charming scene was such a joy. I love how masking allows you to build depth, and fussy cutting gives you the freedom to arrange everything exactly where you want it.

I’m also linking this card to the Splitcoaststampers CAS Challenge: International Rescue Cat Day—a perfect fit for that sweet, sleepy kitty.

Thank you so much to Creative Worship Stamps for having me as a Guest Designer this month. I can’t wait to share more inspiration with you!
