Not Really But It's a Pretty Sentiment

Hello!

It's time for a new Fan Club Christmas Challenge at SCS.  We have had such a fun year of challenges, and I am a little sad to see the theme end. I can't mention what the challenge is but we would love it if you joined us!  SCS is such a fun community for paper crafters!

I used the November Limited Edition kit for this card.  It's only available through December and then it will be gone.  I layered lovely pieces of patterned paper from the Winter Fun Paper Pack.  Lastly, I finished off the card with sprigs of Mistletoe.

I can't wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment.  I have lived in the south too long.  However, since we rarely get snow it's fun to see a tiny bit of the white stuff now and then. The state snowplow (the sun) usually warms up the ground quickly, making snowy experiences short.

Snowy weather was an exciting time when our children were young!   We anxiously watched the tv to hear our school was closed.  Later on, it was the automated phone call we couldn't wait to receive!   Those were the BEST days!     The kids would tramp back and forth outside and in.  Our winter gear was laughable and did very little to keep fingers and toes dry and warm.  The kids would come in and warm up; I would find another pair of dry gloves and out they went again!

Ah, well, one is married now and the other is in college so no more snow day excitement for us.  Just snowy cards to create.  :)

Warm hugs!

Have a wonderful day!
