Turning a Favorite Stamp Festive

There’s something especially cozy about reflecting on favorite projects at the end of the year, and today’s card does just that. I’m celebrating the Pajama Crafter Stamps December Instagram Hop, where the team is sharing a brand-new project featuring stamps and dies from the past year. It’s been such a joyful, creative journey!

I chose one of my favorite stamp sets of the year, Birds of a Feather. While it isn’t a Christmas set, I love stretching supplies—and with the right papers and sentiment, it transforms beautifully into a holiday card.

I paired the sweet bird with gorgeous patterned paper from the Winter Parade Paper Pack and added the Happy Christmas sentiment from the Woodland Christmas Eve stamp set. The bird is truly sweet as can be, and I colored him in soft blues to complement the rich brick red tones in the background paper.

To finish off the card, I added a few delicate die-cut snowflakes and a sprinkling of sequins for just the right touch of winter sparkle. It’s a gentle, cozy Christmas card that proves favorite stamp sets can shine year-round.

Be sure to head over to the Instagram Hop to see all the team’s favorite projects—and don’t forget, there’s a chance to win a $25 Pajama Crafter Stamps store voucher! All of the stamps used today can be found at the Pajama Crafter Stamps store.

Snowman Season in Pink

If you follow me, you won’t be surprised to see a generous dose of pink on today’s card—it’s definitely my happy color! This week I’m playing along with the Splitcoaststampers Free 4 All Challenge, where the theme is Favorite Color, and this pink winter wonderland felt just right.

I began by inking the Spiral Snowfall background stamp in pink, then cut it down using a large postage stamp die. I love how the soft snowfall paired with the postage edges creates instant texture and interest.

The star of the card is the darling Snowman with Wreath from SweetMissDaisy Designs. I’ve had so much fun coloring this image throughout the month, and this version features a cozy mix of pinks and cranberry tones for a festive yet playful feel.

Ever since we created collage-style cards for a previous Free 4 All Challenge, I’ve been completely enamored with postage collage designs. For this card, I layered in stamps from Correspondence Bits, Winter Scene, and Holly Branch, all from SweetMissDaisy Designs, to build a whimsical, collected look.

To finish things off, I added die-cut snowflakes and a scattering of sequins for just the right amount of sparkle. This cheerful pink palette makes winter feel extra warm and joyful!

Red & Gold or Cozy & Rustic? Snowman Style Times Two

Let It Snow… Twice! Two Challenge Cards Featuring the SweetMissDaisy Snowman

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Today I’m sharing a pair of cozy winter cards featuring the fantastic snowman from Decorate the Tree by SweetMissDaisy Designs—and he’s dressed up two different ways for two different challenges. I had so much fun giving him a fresh personality for each scene.

Art Nudge 1225A: Red, White & Gold Magic

For the first challenge, I dressed our happy snowman in red, white, and gold for the Art Nudge 1225A prompt

I started by stamping the gorgeous Decorative Snowflake Background and cutting it with a postage-stamp-style die to create a layered panel. To play up the postcard feel, I stamped a few playful postmarks using the Winter Scene stamp set. The “25” and sentiment come from Holly Branch, and they tuck perfectly into the collage.

A scattering of sparkly snowflake die cuts and sequins finishes the card with a festive, almost storybook look. It feels like a holiday postcard brought to life!

The Art Nudge Challenge is such fun.  Head over to the blog and enter your project for a chance to win!

 Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge

Next up, I’m playing along with today’s Color Challenge at Splitcoaststampers, featuring Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, and Pool Party.

Pumpkin Pie takes the lead in my snowy scene, with Real Red brightening his coat and hat. Pool Party makes a soft cameo in the background — just enough to cool the palette without stealing attention.

I placed this handsome fellow on a Rustic Winter patterned background and added another flurry of die-cut snowflakes for texture and movement. All the papers and stamps are from SweetMissDaisy Designs.

If you’d like to peek at the stamps or papers I used, you can find them all here:

Thanks so much for stopping by today — I hope these snowy cards bring a bit of winter joy to your week!

Snowflakes, Farmhouse Giggles & Bright Birthday Wishes

Welcome to the SweetMissDaisy December Release Day! I had such a wonderful time playing with the gorgeous stamps and cheerful papers in this month’s collection, and I’m so excited to share four cards with you today. Each one brought its own little spark of joy while I was creating, from snowy scenes to farmhouse giggles to bright, happy birthday wishes. Let’s take a tour!

Snowman With Wreath in Blue

I started the release with a peaceful winter moment. I stamped the Decorative Snowflake background stamp in a soft blue to create my own patterned paper, then die-cut it with a sweet scalloped edge. The darling Snowman with Wreath takes center stage, trimmed out and grounded on a little strip of lace for a cozy, homespun touch. A sprinkling of blue enamel dots adds a bit of frosty shimmer to finish off this gentle, snow-kissed design.

I am also playing along with the Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge.

The Farmhouse Fancy Duck (Woot de Doodle Do)

This one made me laugh the whole time I was making it—I fully cracked myself up! I stamped the Chicken Wire background in gray, then created a decorative frame by die-cutting it in both gray and white. After stamping and coloring the birthday duck from Woot de Doodle Do, I placed him inside the frame… and then hung it on the chicken wire.

And honestly? I think this duck is delighted with its own portrait—fancy frame, chicken wire, and all. It’s the ultimate Farmhouse gallery wall moment! Still giggling.

Bright Birthday Wishes (Bright Candles Paper Pack)

I dove headfirst into color for the next card! The Bright Candles Paper Pack is a true must-have if you love cheerful, happy card making. I layered several patterns for a lively background, then stamped the adorable group of feathered friends from Woot de Doodle Do. After die-cutting them with a rounded-square frame, I added a bow and a Birthday Wishes sentiment. It’s bright, bold, and bursting with celebration!

 Joy to the World Snowman

To wrap up the release, I returned to Christmas with a fresh snowfall feel. I stamped the Spiral Snowfall background in blue and layered a bright white panel on top. The sweet Snowman with Wreath makes another appearance—this time colored in cheerful reds and yellows. I added a “Joy to the World” sentiment and finished the card with die-cut snowflakes for a festive, sparkling finish.

Oh, Holy Night

Hello, friends! Can you believe we’ve reached our final Splitcoaststampers Fan Club Christmas Challenge of 2025? What a year it's been! We have two prompts to choose from this month!

I began with watercolor paper and brushed on layered washes of blues, magentas, and yellows—letting the colors blend like a sunset slipping into night. Near the bottom, I deepened the color with a blue-black watercolor to ground the scene. Once the sky dried, I splattered the upper portion with white gold watercolor and  flecks of white paint to create a starry shimmer.

Next, I added the Nativity Silhouette die cut from Pajama Crafter Stamps, allowing that glowing sky to shine through the openings of the barn. I die cut the star from watercolor paper as well, then painted it with the same white gold watercolor so it glows softly above the holy scene. For the finishing touch, I added the “Peace” sentiment from the Christmas Words with Shadow die set.

If you love this nativity or have a few items on your wish list, be sure to check out the Pajama Crafter Stamps Black Friday special, running through Monday!

Snowy Blues and a Peaceful Scene

Today I’m sharing a little winter wonderland that I created for both the SCS Inspiration Challenge and the SCS Mix Challenge—and oh my goodness, this one was fun to build layer by layer!  This at least cools me off looking at it, we are experiencing unseasonably warm weather!

I started by blending several blue Distress inks to create a chilly winter look. On the smooth and dreamy background, I stamped the fantastic Threads background stamp from SweetMissDaisy Designs right over the top. A little splattered water added that frosty, textured interest that always makes winter cards feel alive. After everything dried, I added splatters of white paint to mimic falling snow.

Next came the scene itself. I stamped the beautiful Winter Scene from SweetMissDaisy Designs and die-cut it using a retired die that features a removable scalloped edge—it’s such a lovely detail. I adhered the scalloped frame to the background and popped up the main image for depth and dimension. A few die-cut snowflakes and a sweet sentiment were the perfect finishing touches.

For the Mix Challenge, we are asked to identify the Composition Type. I think I ended up with a Tunnel composition, since the eye is drawn straight toward the center of the winter scene. At least… that’s the story I’m sticking to! 😄

The SCS Inspiration Challenge was based on a gorgeous blue snowman ornament, and I loved leaning into this cool, icy palette.

Meowentine Magic + A Vintage Christmas Bonus

Hello friends! Friday was Release Day over at Pajama Crafter Stamps, and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this adorable Meowentine collection with you! There is still time to head over to the fun Instagram hop filled with sweet projects, inspiring ideas, and—of course—giveaways. You won’t want to miss a single stop.

👉 Come begin the hop on my Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/bowdangel/

For today’s project, I created a super cute Double Triangle Gift Card Pocket card—a playful, interactive fold that feels like a tiny surprise waiting to happen. It’s perfect for Valentine gifting or anytime you want to tuck a treat inside.

Here’s how you can make one too:

1. Start with your base.
Score a full sheet of 8 ½" x 11" cardstock at 5 ½".

2. Rotate to portrait and score again at 4 ¼".

3. Cut on the diagonal.
Place the cardstock in your trimmer, line up corner to opposite corner, and cut. Now you’ll have two large triangle card bases.

4. Fold along both score lines using a bone folder for crisp, clean edges.

5. Add patterned paper.

Cut a piece at 5 ½" x 4 ¼", trim on the diagonal, then fit each triangle onto your folded sections and adhere.  Inside, I added a little pocket and stamped another image and sentiment from the Meowentine set to carry the theme throughout. It turns the whole card into a fun, coordinated gift card holder!

I decorated the triangular front with a sweet piece of The Cat’s Meow patterned paper — it’s purrfectly charming and couldn’t fit the theme better!

For the focal panel, I used the darling kitty and sentiment from the Meowentine Stamp Set. That set is going to be well-loved in my craft room… I can already tell! 😊

And because I couldn’t resist making one more project for Release Day…

✨ Bonus Project: Vintage Christmas Panel

For my second card, I reached for one of the stunning Vintage Christmas card panels. I die cut the panel with pretty faux-stitched edges to give it a warm, finished look. At the top, I added a large snowflake and layered an inner circle featuring the sentiment “Happy Christmas” from the Woodland Christmas Eve stamp set. Simple and elegant—but full of holiday charm!

If you’d like to see more from this release, or pick up any of the goodies I used today, be sure to stop by the Pajama Crafter Stamps store:

I hope these projects bring you a little Meowentine cheer.

Handmade Holiday Magic with SweetMissDaisy Designs

Hello and welcome to the November SweetMissDaisy Release—available now at SweetMissDaisy Designs on Etsy!
This month’s collection is overflowing with festive inspiration — five beautifully illustrated stamp sets, one charming paper pack, and a coordinating notepad that ties it all together. I had the best time creating four very different cards, each showcasing something special from the release.

🌸  Holly Branch Elegance

Let’s start with the timeless beauty of the Holly Branch stamp set. I wanted to echo the look of the coordinating notepad, so I softly brushed Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the edges to create a gently aged background.
Using images from both Holly Branch and the Mixed Media set, I built layers of texture with a light hand — I especially love the “25” and the distressed round postage image.
The sentiment banner is popped up with ribbon for a touch of dimension, and inside I tucked a piece of the Be Merry notepad for a coordinated finish.

❄️  Peaceful Winter Scene

The Winter Scene stamp set captures that serene, vintage look I love. It includes postmarks and mixed-media accents, but this time I let the main image shine on its own.
The background is patterned paper from the Rustic Winter Paper Pack, and I added the simple but powerful “Peace on Earth” sentiment. It’s such an elegant and tranquil combination.

🍬  Sweet Gingerbread Treats

Now for something a little playful! The Gingerbread Cookies set is pure delight. I stamped the gingerbread girl onto a tag, then paired it with a kraft background stamped with the Threads background stamp.
Pink and brown is one of my favorite cozy combos, so I added a “Thank You – You’re So Sweet” banner and a few pink peppermint die-cuts to finish. This one just makes me smile every time!

🎄 Mixed Media Christmas Collage

Finally, I had fun mixing and matching across sets for this collage-style card. The Mixed Media set takes the lead, but I also brought in Decorate the Tree for the sentiment, Holly Branch for the “25” and circle, and Winter Scene for the postmark image.
I used the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Die to divide the space into blocks and filled each section with softly sponged red, green, and brown inks. A couple of bows finish the design.
Even though the Mixed Media set isn’t strictly holiday-themed, it layers beautifully for Christmas projects!

Each of these stamp sets and papers can be found at SweetMissDaisy Designs on Etsy—and I think you’ll fall in love with their mix of rustic charm and timeless elegance.
Happy stamping, and may your holidays be filled with creative joy!

Candlelight Christmas Magic

Hello friends! It’s time for another Christmas Fan Club Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers!

I started with the lovely Winter Friends paper pack from SweetMissDaisy Designs, choosing a warm, pattern.  My background and focal panel are lightly distressed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink to give them that aged, fireside glow.

At the heart of my card is a chunky die-cut candle, softly inked with hints of yellow to mimic the gentle light of a flame. I added sprigs of Christmas greenery and a few ruby red gems tucked around the greenery plate for a touch of sparkle.

The finishing sentiment comes from the Season’s Tweetings stamp set by SweetMissDaisy Designs—the perfect message for a card that celebrates warmth, light, and holiday cheer.

We hope you will join us tomorrow for the SweetMissDaisy Designs November Release!  So many new goodies to inspire! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Season's Tweetings!

Hello friends!
I’m getting ready for Season’s Tweetings! This week I’m joining the Christmas Kickstart Challenge, and the theme is Snow Alert! ❄️ Challenge #103 celebrates all things snowy — from flurries to full-on blizzards—and I couldn’t resist playing along.

For my card, I’m featuring the darling Snowman with Birds stamp set by SweetMissDaisy Designs partnered with Serendipity Stamps. My cheerful snowman sits on a softly blended highlight of snow, surrounded by happy cardinals, bluebirds, and sparrows. He’s bundled up in a bright red jacket and hat—perfectly cozy for a day in the snow!  I made the background layer with the Sketchy Plaid background stamp.  Making your own background provides the fun of perfectly coordinating colors!

This snowperson is such fun to color. I fussy cut the little banner and added the sweet sentiment “Season’s Tweetings”—I just love that the tiny bird is flying it! What a joyful detail.

Make sure to stop by SweetMissDaisy Designs for this stamp set and so many other heartwarming designs. And don’t forget—Saturday is Release Day for SweetMissDaisy Designs, so keep an eye out for all the new goodies!

A Critter’s Sweet Christmas

Hello, friends! I have such a sweet little card to share with you today, made with the adorable Just For You stamp set by SweetMissDaisy Designs. This one truly made me smile the whole time I was creating it — I love when a card feels like a little story unfolding.

My inspiration came from several places — #ArtNudge1025C, the Winter Friends Notepad, and the SCS IC1037 Challenge, which featured the cutest Christmas Critter air freshener! That tiny image sent me straight to my stamps, and before long, this penguin and reindeer were posing for their holiday “selfie.”

To carry the design inside, I tucked a small piece of notepad paper and echoed the same Peacock Feathers color I had ink blended on the card front. The matching tones really tie everything together. I added a few soft snowflakes around the selfie frame and a little garland for festive sparkle.

Finally, I stamped “Have a Sweet Christmas” right on the frame — simple, cheerful, and full of holiday warmth.

This card was such a joy to make, combining favorite colors, cute critters, and art challenges that always stretch my imagination. It reminds me how creative inspiration can come from the smallest things — even a fun air freshener!

You can find the Just For You stamp set, notepads, and other fabulous designs in the SweetMissDaisy Etsy shop.

Cozy Woodland Holiday

The enchanting new October release from Pajama Crafter Stamps, is here! This cozy collection blends festive cheer with playful winter friends—perfect for creating cards, tags, and handmade gifts that capture the magic of winter.

Today I’m featuring the super sweet Woodland Christmas Eve stamp set. I love all the little extra images in this set—each one adds storybook charm! For my card, I paired it with a piece of the Winter Parade Paper for the background.

I cut a 3" x 4½" panel and stamped the adorable bear and rabbit right onto it. Then, I fussy cut a little plate of cookies and gave them to the bear—because what’s a cozy winter night without treats to share? I think these two festive critters are ready for a holiday gathering!  I placed the stamped layer at the upper portion on the card and added a small scalloped border.

To finish, I stamped and trimmed the sentiment, then popped it up with foam for a bit of extra dimension.

Here’s how to join the hop and see these adorable sets in action! Follow along, HERE on IG, comment, and maybe even win some goodies from @pajamacrafterstamps! Be sure to stop by the Pajama Crafter Stamps store to explore everything new for the October release and more!

Feathers, Sunflowers, and a bit of Courage

🐓  Hello friends!

I’m having such a delightful time creating with SweetMissDaisy Designs this month!

For today’s project, I made a top-fold card using a piece of patterned paper from the Sunflower Fields paper pack for the background. The Waffle Flower Postage Collage Die is one of my favorites—it offers so many possibilities for unique designs!

I die-cut a layer with the Postage Collage Die, then cut a large square to fill the bottom portion of the design. Onto that square, I stamped the rooster from the Rooster and Sunflowers stamp set by SweetMissDaisy Designs + Serendipity Stamps. On the die-cut frame itself, I added sunflowers in the upper rectangle and a few vintage-style numbers from the same set in the small right corner. I also stamped Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 in the corresponding spaces for a fun scientific-illustration look.

To complete the design, I stamped the word “courage” from the same set. The rooster is colored in warm, vivid shades of yellow, orange, and red, while his body and tail feathers are rich blues—a striking contrast to the ochre sunflowers in the background.

#ArtNudge 1025A inspired this card 1025A. Be sure to check out the link party on the Art Nudge blog for a chance to win!

Sunflowers to Snowmen - October SweetMissDaisy Release

SweetMissDaisy October Release Day – 3 Cards to Share!

Hello friends, and welcome to the October SweetMissDaisy Designs Release Day!
This month’s release is packed with fabulous new stamps, papers, and notepads that are sure to spark your creativity. I have three projects to share today, each featuring one of the beautiful new background stamps plus some sweet details from the coordinating sets.

🌻 Sunflower Tile – Be Still

For my first card, I pulled out my embossing powder. The Sunflower Tile background stamp transferred beautifully to cardstock — no patchy spots, just a crisp design! I heat embossed it in gold and then ink blended Wild Honey and a touch of Vintage Photo Distress Inks across the panel. For the sentiment, I used “Be Still” along with the sentiment frame from the Rooster & Sunflowers set. A little ribbon tucked behind the sentiment finishes the design.

I love the shine and texture!

⛄ Snowman & Plaid

Next up is a fun take on the ever-popular postage stamp style. I inked the Sketchy Plaid background stamp in Peacock Feathers Distress Ink, cut it with the Postage Stamp die, then trimmed along the perforations to create individual “stamps.” I paired those with the sweetest snowman from the Just For You stamp set — perfect for both tags and cards. I filled the other postage areas with images from Rooster & Sunflowers, Correspondence Bits, and a few snowflakes from Just For You. A sentiment tag tied with red ribbon pulls it all together. Snow much fun!

🌲 Woodgrain Winter Tag

My last card features the fabulous Woodgrain background, stamped in brown on kraft and splattered with white paint for a snowy look. I added a die cut tag using patterned paper from the Winter Friends paper pack — such a sweet design with the little characters from Just For You

For the inside, I couldn’t resist adding a piece of the coordinating Winter Friends notepad for a surprise detail. Rustic, festive, and oh-so-cozy.

I’ll be sharing more projects all month long, but you don’t have to wait! Head over to the SweetMissDaisy Designs Etsy shop to see the entire October release, including stamp sets, paper packs, and notepads.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Fun Patterned Paper Hack

The F4All Challenge this week is all about patterned paper—and do I have a fun way to use it! I started with a 6x6 sheet of Halloween paper from SweetMissDaisy Designs called Ghostly. By simply folding the paper in half, I created a 3" x 6" card base. Since the paper is double-sided, there’s a surprise patterned inside, too!

On the front, I layered a panel cut to 5 5/8" x 2 5/8" for my image. The star of the card is the pumpkin trick-or-treater from the SweetMissDaisy Designs Trick or Treat stamp set. I colored him in playful shades of blue, purple, and green—topped off with a bright orange pumpkin head, of course! To set the spooky scene, I stamped part of a spiderweb in the corner and dangled a creepy-cute spider from it.

Adding the sentiment was bittersweet. It reads, “Trick or Treat, Smell my feet, give me something good to eat.” A relative I grew up with used to say this every Halloween, and while he’s no longer with us, the memory brings a smile to my face and a little laughter to my heart.

For the inside, I added a coordinating layer on the right side of the fold and stamped a bat along with some twinkly star sparkles, while leaving plenty of space for a handwritten message.

Always fun to play along with the colors or theme from the Art Nudge blog! The challenge encourages any art form, simply make art, following the prompts, link your project in the blog post and you just might win a prize!

This card was such a joy to make, and it’s the perfect kickoff to a creative weekend. Tomorrow is not only World Cardmaking Day, but also the October SweetMissDaisy Release Day! Be sure to stop by and see what’s new—you won’t want to miss it.

So tell me… do you have any plans for World Cardmaking Day?

Sweet Sips & Holiday Sparkle!

October 1st is here, which means a new Christmas Challenge has begun for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club.

I began by blending Uncharted Mariner, Broken China, and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks together for a frosty background. To add sparkle and texture, I splattered White Gold paint, water drops, and a bit of white paint across the panel. Once it was dry, I cut the panel with an arch die and layered it onto an arched A2 card base (a little trick: I placed the card base just inside the far-right edge of the die so the fold remained intact, giving me the shaped card I wanted).

Now for the fun part—building the cocoa scene! My cup is adorned with whipped cream, candy cane, holly, and red berries. I tucked peppermint candies and jingle bells around the saucer for extra holiday cheer.

It’s a sweet and festive way to celebrate this month’s challenge. Be sure to check out the Fan Club Christmas Challenge for all the details—we can’t wait to see how the inspiration photo sparks your creativity!
