Season's Tweetings!

Hello friends!
I’m getting ready for Season’s Tweetings! This week I’m joining the Christmas Kickstart Challenge, and the theme is Snow Alert! ❄️ Challenge #103 celebrates all things snowy — from flurries to full-on blizzards—and I couldn’t resist playing along.

For my card, I’m featuring the darling Snowman with Birds stamp set by SweetMissDaisy Designs partnered with Serendipity Stamps. My cheerful snowman sits on a softly blended highlight of snow, surrounded by happy cardinals, bluebirds, and sparrows. He’s bundled up in a bright red jacket and hat—perfectly cozy for a day in the snow!  I made the background layer with the Sketchy Plaid background stamp.  Making your own background provides the fun of perfectly coordinating colors!

This snowperson is such fun to color. I fussy cut the little banner and added the sweet sentiment “Season’s Tweetings”—I just love that the tiny bird is flying it! What a joyful detail.

Make sure to stop by SweetMissDaisy Designs for this stamp set and so many other heartwarming designs. And don’t forget—Saturday is Release Day for SweetMissDaisy Designs, so keep an eye out for all the new goodies!

If you love snow-themed cards, you’ll want to visit the Christmas Kickstart Challenge to join the link party and soak up the amazing inspiration.

I am also playing along with the #ArtNudge 1025D prompt!

Happy crafting and Season’s Tweetings, friends! ❤️⛄🐦

A Critter’s Sweet Christmas

Hello, friends! I have such a sweet little card to share with you today, made with the adorable Just For You stamp set by SweetMissDaisy Designs. This one truly made me smile the whole time I was creating it — I love when a card feels like a little story unfolding.

My inspiration came from several places — #ArtNudge1025C, the Winter Friends Notepad, and the SCS IC1037 Challenge, which featured the cutest Christmas Critter air freshener! That tiny image sent me straight to my stamps, and before long, this penguin and reindeer were posing for their holiday “selfie.”

To carry the design inside, I tucked a small piece of notepad paper and echoed the same Peacock Feathers color I had ink blended on the card front. The matching tones really tie everything together. I added a few soft snowflakes around the selfie frame and a little garland for festive sparkle.

Finally, I stamped “Have a Sweet Christmas” right on the frame — simple, cheerful, and full of holiday warmth.

This card was such a joy to make, combining favorite colors, cute critters, and art challenges that always stretch my imagination. It reminds me how creative inspiration can come from the smallest things — even a fun air freshener!

You can find the Just For You stamp set, notepads, and other fabulous designs in the SweetMissDaisy Etsy shop.

And if you love a good creative challenge, be sure to join the Art Nudge Challenge for a chance to win a prize!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing a bit of the season with me. Wishing you a cozy, joy-filled winter card-making season! 💙

Cozy Woodland Holiday

The enchanting new October release from Pajama Crafter Stamps, is here! This cozy collection blends festive cheer with playful winter friends—perfect for creating cards, tags, and handmade gifts that capture the magic of winter.

Today I’m featuring the super sweet Woodland Christmas Eve stamp set. I love all the little extra images in this set—each one adds storybook charm! For my card, I paired it with a piece of the Winter Parade Paper for the background.

I cut a 3" x 4½" panel and stamped the adorable bear and rabbit right onto it. Then, I fussy cut a little plate of cookies and gave them to the bear—because what’s a cozy winter night without treats to share? I think these two festive critters are ready for a holiday gathering!  I placed the stamped layer at the upper portion on the card and added a small scalloped border.

To finish, I stamped and trimmed the sentiment, then popped it up with foam for a bit of extra dimension.

Here’s how to join the hop and see these adorable sets in action! Follow along, HERE on IG, comment, and maybe even win some goodies from @pajamacrafterstamps! Be sure to stop by the Pajama Crafter Stamps store to explore everything new for the October release and more!

Feathers, Sunflowers, and a bit of Courage

🐓  Hello friends!

I’m having such a delightful time creating with SweetMissDaisy Designs this month!

For today’s project, I made a top-fold card using a piece of patterned paper from the Sunflower Fields paper pack for the background. The Waffle Flower Postage Collage Die is one of my favorites—it offers so many possibilities for unique designs!

I die-cut a layer with the Postage Collage Die, then cut a large square to fill the bottom portion of the design. Onto that square, I stamped the rooster from the Rooster and Sunflowers stamp set by SweetMissDaisy Designs + Serendipity Stamps. On the die-cut frame itself, I added sunflowers in the upper rectangle and a few vintage-style numbers from the same set in the small right corner. I also stamped Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 in the corresponding spaces for a fun scientific-illustration look.

To complete the design, I stamped the word “courage” from the same set. The rooster is colored in warm, vivid shades of yellow, orange, and red, while his body and tail feathers are rich blues—a striking contrast to the ochre sunflowers in the background.

#ArtNudge 1025A inspired this card 1025A. Be sure to check out the link party on the Art Nudge blog for a chance to win!

Sunflowers to Snowmen - October SweetMissDaisy Release

SweetMissDaisy October Release Day – 3 Cards to Share!

Hello friends, and welcome to the October SweetMissDaisy Designs Release Day!
This month’s release is packed with fabulous new stamps, papers, and notepads that are sure to spark your creativity. I have three projects to share today, each featuring one of the beautiful new background stamps plus some sweet details from the coordinating sets.

🌻 Sunflower Tile – Be Still

For my first card, I pulled out my embossing powder. The Sunflower Tile background stamp transferred beautifully to cardstock — no patchy spots, just a crisp design! I heat embossed it in gold and then ink blended Wild Honey and a touch of Vintage Photo Distress Inks across the panel. For the sentiment, I used “Be Still” along with the sentiment frame from the Rooster & Sunflowers set. A little ribbon tucked behind the sentiment finishes the design.

I love the shine and texture!

⛄ Snowman & Plaid

Next up is a fun take on the ever-popular postage stamp style. I inked the Sketchy Plaid background stamp in Peacock Feathers Distress Ink, cut it with the Postage Stamp die, then trimmed along the perforations to create individual “stamps.” I paired those with the sweetest snowman from the Just For You stamp set — perfect for both tags and cards. I filled the other postage areas with images from Rooster & Sunflowers, Correspondence Bits, and a few snowflakes from Just For You. A sentiment tag tied with red ribbon pulls it all together. Snow much fun!

🌲 Woodgrain Winter Tag

My last card features the fabulous Woodgrain background, stamped in brown on kraft and splattered with white paint for a snowy look. I added a die cut tag using patterned paper from the Winter Friends paper pack — such a sweet design with the little characters from Just For You

For the inside, I couldn’t resist adding a piece of the coordinating Winter Friends notepad for a surprise detail. Rustic, festive, and oh-so-cozy.

I’ll be sharing more projects all month long, but you don’t have to wait! Head over to the SweetMissDaisy Designs Etsy shop to see the entire October release, including stamp sets, paper packs, and notepads.

Fun Patterned Paper Hack

The F4All Challenge this week is all about patterned paper—and do I have a fun way to use it! I started with a 6x6 sheet of Halloween paper from SweetMissDaisy Designs called Ghostly. By simply folding the paper in half, I created a 3" x 6" card base. Since the paper is double-sided, there’s a surprise patterned inside, too!

On the front, I layered a panel cut to 5 5/8" x 2 5/8" for my image. The star of the card is the pumpkin trick-or-treater from the SweetMissDaisy Designs Trick or Treat stamp set. I colored him in playful shades of blue, purple, and green—topped off with a bright orange pumpkin head, of course! To set the spooky scene, I stamped part of a spiderweb in the corner and dangled a creepy-cute spider from it.

Adding the sentiment was bittersweet. It reads, “Trick or Treat, Smell my feet, give me something good to eat.” A relative I grew up with used to say this every Halloween, and while he’s no longer with us, the memory brings a smile to my face and a little laughter to my heart.

For the inside, I added a coordinating layer on the right side of the fold and stamped a bat along with some twinkly star sparkles, while leaving plenty of space for a handwritten message.

Always fun to play along with the colors or theme from the Art Nudge blog! The challenge encourages any art form, simply make art, following the prompts, link your project in the blog post and you just might win a prize!

This card was such a joy to make, and it’s the perfect kickoff to a creative weekend. Tomorrow is not only World Cardmaking Day, but also the October SweetMissDaisy Release Day! Be sure to stop by and see what’s new—you won’t want to miss it.

So tell me… do you have any plans for World Cardmaking Day?

Sweet Sips & Holiday Sparkle!

October 1st is here, which means a new Christmas Challenge has begun for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club.

I began by blending Uncharted Mariner, Broken China, and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks together for a frosty background. To add sparkle and texture, I splattered White Gold paint, water drops, and a bit of white paint across the panel. Once it was dry, I cut the panel with an arch die and layered it onto an arched A2 card base (a little trick: I placed the card base just inside the far-right edge of the die so the fold remained intact, giving me the shaped card I wanted).

Now for the fun part—building the cocoa scene! My cup is adorned with whipped cream, candy cane, holly, and red berries. I tucked peppermint candies and jingle bells around the saucer for extra holiday cheer.

It’s a sweet and festive way to celebrate this month’s challenge. Be sure to check out the Fan Club Christmas Challenge for all the details—we can’t wait to see how the inspiration photo sparks your creativity!

Fall Fun

 Hello friends!

We have a fun F4A Challenge this week at Splitcoaststampers: Geometric Shapes!

My funny little pumpkin-head trick-or-treater from Trick or Treat by SweetMissDaisy Designs is practically a study in geometry. He’s topped with a triangular party hat, has a circular pumpkin head, and even his shorts look like little squares with a plaid design! To make sure I really hit the challenge prompt, I also added a triangle of plaid patterned paper at the top of my card.

For the details, I used the Precision Glue Press to add the tiniest border, then pulled out a triangle from the Creative Corners to help line up my sentiment along the diagonal edge. The MISTI was my absolute best friend here—it made stamping the three dangling spiders from the Open if You Dare set perfectly even, and it gave me flawless results with the little star-sparkle image every time. (A small stamp like that is so easy to mis-stamp by hand, and no one wants to start over after that!)

I finished my dapper pumpkin-head guy in oranges and blues—he looks ready to party! 🎃✨

Autumn Leaves and Pumpkins Please

Today I’m sharing a card for this week’s CAS Fall Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. I also couldn’t resist playing along again with the #ArtNudge 925B prompt—it’s such a beautiful source of inspiration!

For my card, I reached for the adorable Happy Harvest stamp set by SweetMissDaisy Designs, partnered with Serendipity Stamps. This set is full of charm, and I thought the sweet scarecrow was the perfect focal point for a clean and simple fall design. The colors are pulled directly from the #ArtNudge inspiration, keeping everything cohesive and seasonal.

To stay true to the CAS style, I kept the layout simple: a kraft card base topped with my stamped and colored image layer. The sentiment, “Autumn Leaves and Pumpkins Please”, is so bold and beautiful that it needed to be popped up.

🍁 There’s still plenty of time to join in on the September Art Nudge Challenge—and you might even win a prize! You can enter here.

If you’re looking for more fall goodness, you can find lovely stamps, papers, and more in the SweetMissDaisy Etsy shop.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope this little scarecrow brings a smile to your fall crafting. 🍂✨

Serving Family Drama Since 1621

Today I’m sharing a Thanksgiving card featuring the Food Coma Ready stamp set and the Woven Warmth stencil from the September Pajama Crafter Stamps Release! 🍂🦃

To start, I stenciled Wild Honey Distress Ink through the woven design, which gave the background such cozy, golden texture—just perfect for fall. For my focal point, I couldn’t resist choosing one of the three adorable turkeys. He looks as if he has something important to say!

After stenciling, I layered up two arches. On the smaller one, I stamped the turkey. The larger arch got a soft inking of Wild Honey around the edges for a warm, rustic frame. To complete the little scene, I stamped three leaves drifting above the turkey and tucked in two hand-colored, fussy-cut pumpkins along the bottom edge.

And then came the punchline—the sentiment:

“Serving Family Drama Since 1621.”

Apparently, that’s the urgent announcement our turkey was waiting to deliver! 😂 While my own Thanksgiving memories are full of warmth, friends, and family (thankfully without the drama), I couldn’t resist this hilarious sentiment. It’s cheeky, it’s true for many, and it adds just the right touch of humor to this festive card.

Scarecrows, Spooks, and Snowmen—Oh My!

It’s Release Day at SweetMissDaisy Designs, and this one is hauntingly fangtastic! 🦇🎃

The new release includes three Halloween/harvest stamp sets, a sweet snowman set, and three gorgeous fall paper packs. You can peek at everything now in the SweetMissDaisy Designs Etsy shop.

I have three cards to share today, each one inspired by a different challenge and a different set from the release:

🍂  Happy Harvest
This handsome scarecrow from the Happy Harvest set is a SweeetMissDaisy Designs/Serendipity Stamps Partnership! I gave him a warm plaid background from the Harvest Mini Gingham paper pack. Since the Splitcoaststampers F4A811 challenge is “Brown,” I colored his shirt in shades of brown and tucked the same tone into his pumpkins and hat. A bat and moon float above, and the golden ribbon with a pumpkin charm ties it all together. Inspired by #ArtNudge 925B + F4A811.

👻 Open if You Dare

Boo! This card features three of the four adorable Halloween faces from the Open if You Dare set. I stamped them on tags, tucked the tags into a slotted die cut, and added the “boo” sentiment on a round die cut. The background paper is from the Halloween Mini Gingham paper pack. Inspired by #ArtNudge 925A. These faces are too cute to spook!

❄️ Umbrella Snowman

Oh, how I love this snowlady! The Umbrella Snowman set (SweetMissDaisy Designs + Serendipity Stamps) was such fun to play with. She’s holding a bright red umbrella trimmed in gold. The set includes extra snow, so I scattered flakes around the scene for a wintery look. The golden plaid background paper is from the Harvest Mini Gingham paper pack.  Inspired by a set of ornaments in the SCS Inspiration Challenge today.

Each of these sets is just brimming with charm, and I can’t wait to see what you create with them, too. 💕

Garden Girl Friendship - Featured Stamper Challenge

 Hello friends!

Today I’m joining the Featured Stamper challenge at Splitcoaststampers. This week, we’re taking a stroll back to 2008—before I had even seen a stamp, let alone made a card! I chose a lovely card from Mary Jo Albright’s gallery as my inspiration.

Our cards both feature farm girls, share similar colors, and include flowers (though mine are quite different). I went with fewer layers, a different farm girl image, and skipped the ribbon.

For my card, I featured the Garden Girl stamp set from SweetMissDaisy Designs. The patterned paper comes from SweetMissDaisy’s Letters & Ledgers collection, which makes a beautiful background. I placed Garden Girl on a die-cut tag, then tucked delicate wildflowers behind her.

If you love classic, whimsical designs, be sure to stop by the SweetMissDaisy Designs shop for stamp sets, notepads, and gorgeous paper packs. And don’t miss the Fall September Release coming this Saturday, 9/6/25—it’s going to be wonderful!

A Zesty Twist with Garden Girl

Hello friends! Today at Splitcoaststampers, we’re celebrating National Lemon Juice Day with a fresh and cheerful card-making challenge.

For my project, I stamped the Garden Girl wreath (SweetMissDaisy Designs) several times, tilting the bow at an angle to create a playful background. I colored the tiny flowers in sunny yellow, then layered the panel over a solid yellow cardstock base, also set at an angle for extra energy.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment on a tag and tied it up with a yellow ribbon and a touch of gold string. Lemon yellow-inspired sunshine to brighten anyone’s day! 🍋✨

We’d love for you to join us in the challenge! Share your own yellow or lemon-themed card here:

Snow Much Fun and a Birdhouse Too!

Hello friends!
I’m joining in on two fun challenges today! The Splitcoaststampers CAS Challenge is water—and I think I’ve got it covered two ways. My card features the Birdhouse Snowman stamp by SweetMissDaisy Designs/Serendipity Stamps, which is literally frozen water, and I used watercolor to bring this sweet image to life.

For the background, I added a lovely piece of purple patterned paper from the Lavender Field Paper Pack—such a perfect complement to the snowy scene. ArtNudge #825D inspired my coloring.

The ArtNudge inspiration photo is filled with cheerful, colorful birdhouses in a winter setting! I managed to work in all of those wonderful hues!

There’s still time to link up a project to the August ArtNudge Blog Challenge if you’d like to play along.

You can find this darling snowman stamp, the Lavender Field paper pack, and so much more at SweetMissDaisy’s Etsy shop.

Sunflower Love

I am on the Pajama Crafter Stamps Blog with a full reveal of this beauty today!

Sunflowers remind me of sweet childhood memories of Kansas. The majestic flowers peeped over the fences of family gardens. 🌻

This week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoaststampers is Mspork, and I found a gorgeous sunny yellow card in her gallery!

I chose the breathtaking Sketched Florals Sunflower Stamp and Die Bundle by Pajama Crafter Stamps. The sentiment is from the Doctor Koala Bear stamp and die bundle set, a perfect choice since it's for my sister, who shares my love for sunflowers as much as I do. She also has a patch of the regal flowers in her backyard!

Stop by the Pajama Crafter Stamps Shop and head to the SALE section to grab these sets at a terrific price!

Crafted with love and memories of summer 💛

I am also entering this in #ArtNudge 825B, focusing on the flowers as the theme.

Butterfly & Ledger

"Hello, Butterfly Ledger"

Hello, friends!
I'm fluttering by with a new card featuring the Beautiful, She Began to Fly butterfly stamp set by SweetMissDaisy Designs — and this one is full of vintage charm!

To begin, I stamped the newly released Received Ledger background in brown ink on soft pink cardstock. I then die-cut the stamped panel using a Postage Stamp die. Each little piece became part of a collage-style background on a crisp white card base, setting the stage for one of the gorgeous butterflies from the She Began to Fly set.

I added a bit of twine behind the butterfly and mounted her on a stitched oval for a soft focal point. I love how this design mixes clean and simple lines with a touch of vintage nostalgia!

This card is also my entry for Art Nudge Challenge #825A!

Double the challenge, double the fun!

🎄Double the challenge, double the fun!

Hello! I'm excited to be hosting both the Fan Club Christmas Challenge and the Free 4 All Challenge at Splitcoaststampers this week! Since I’ve been out of town, my card is pulling double duty—and I think it fits both themes perfectly. While I can't share all the details for the Fan Club Christmas Challenge (you’ll have to visit the Fan Club to see!), I can tell you all about the F4A theme: pockets!

I finally got to use a Stitched Slot Die I’d picked up on clearance a while back. Originally, I pictured it filled with ephemera, but once I sat down to create, I ended up building a whole Christmas scene inside the slots instead. I tucked two cozy kitties into the bottom pocket, added a Christmas tree and some gifts, and let the scene come to life. I love how the slots create layered dimension—such a fun design element. Maybe next time I’ll actually fill it with ephemera… but for now, the kitties are stealing the show!

Two Festive Looks, One Twinkling Lights Santa

🎄Twinkling Lights Santa – Two Festive Looks!

Hello, creative friends!
I’m spreading holiday cheer early with two cards featuring the absolutely adorable Twinkling Lights Santa stamp set from SweetMissDaisy Designs! This stamp is one of my Christmas-in-July favorites—it’s full of personality, and the little extras in the set add creative flexibility.

I am on the MISTI blog today with these fun cards.

Both cards also feature patterned paper from the Holiday Mini Gingham Paper Pack, which brings a cozy, homespun charm to these festive scenes. Even though I used the same Santa and gingham, each card has its own unique spin. Let’s take a look!

Stop by the MISTI blog for all the details!

🎅 Card 1: Twinkling in Red – Inspired by #ArtNudge 725D

For this card, I drew inspiration from #ArtNudge 725D, which provided the perfect excuse to use a rainbow of colors on the string of Christmas lights. I even added a hint of Christmas light reflection on the ground!

One of my favorite parts of this stamp set? The four separate twinkle hash stamps that let you add sparkle wherever you want! I positioned them around each light to create an extra glow.

💙 Card 2: Santa Goes Red, White & Blue

This second card takes red, white, and blue for the holidays! I created a scalloped blue gingham border along the bottom of the card and placed Santa at the top, letting him take the spotlight.  I couldn't resist making another red, white, and blue-themed card, inspired by the colors in #ArtNudge 725A!

🛍️ Twinkling Lights Santa – Back in Stock!

🎁 Great news! The Twinkling Lights Santa stamp set is back in stock in the SweetMissDaisy Designs Etsy store, along with many more wonderful sets for your holiday creations. Whether you go classic or bold with your colors, this cheerful Santa is sure to brighten up your Christmas cards.

This is the last day to participate in the July Art Nudge Challenge.  Head over to the blog to link your creations for a chance at winning a prize!

✨ A Little Help from My MISTI

These tools don’t just save time—they boost confidence. I knew each element would land just where I wanted it, and that left me free to enjoy the creative process.
