Peace and Patterned Paper

Hello! It's the first day of the new month, so it's time for the SCS Fan Club Christmas Challenge. I used the beautiful Nativity Silhouette Die and the Christmas Words and Shadow Die from Pajama Crafter Stamps. I die-cut the Nativity from a floral piece of patterned paper for an artsy look and added the "Peace" sentiment.

A Colorful Assortment for Designer's Choice

Hello!  Welcome to the Impression Obsession Designer's Choice Day.  I chose to feature an assortment of sweet sets still in the store.

As my first featured item today, I made a quick bookmark for my daughter-in-law! I used the Stitched Tag (still in the store!) This is such a pretty tag with a stitched topper!  Next, I stamped and colored Ivy Comfort.  I added a sheer white ribbon (which has disappeared in the photo) and that was it!  A beautiful tag or bookmark in minutes!  I used the Art Nudge #100 prompt for my theme and colors.    

 My first card showcases More Sweet Citrus, which includes cute puns, a lime, and a mandarin!

The next card showcases one of my favorite themes: art!  The darling Work of Art set features two cute girls, a paintbrush, a crayon, art splatters, and two sentiments!  And it's a steal with the deep closing sale discount!  

My last card features the Festive Forest!  This fun set is a crazy deal sold alone or as the Festive Forest Bundle with dies!

I splattered white paint on blue cardstock and let dry. Then I colored the cute fox from the Woodland Critters Stamp set.

I added the lovely Pine Branch and then cut snowy hills from a Stitched Scalloped Border. I finished the card by adding a sentiment to a Banner Die.

And Snow it Goes with Hearts

We are feeling the blues this week at the F4ALL Challenge.  We can make mostly blue cards, make a music card, or make an encouragement card to shoo the blues away!  I made a mostly blue card with the And Snow It Goes stamp set but I think with those sweet little hearts it could do double duty and shoo the blues away too!  I stamped snowflakes to make a background, then stamped the image and sentiment on the Tag with Reinforcements.

Happy Fall Watercolor

Hello!  It's Watercolor Wednesday at SCS and Brenda has chosen a striking tutorial for us to follow. I diverged from the path when I saw this week's FB Art Nudge Challenge. I changed the oval setting to a circle and changed the winter scene in the tutorial to a fall scene. I thoroughly enjoyed the tutorial. Perhaps at a later date, I can paint four seasons!

Bright Colors - November IO Color Challenge

Hello! Jeanne has chosen a beautiful wildflower picture to inspire our Color Challenge this month. I had a lot of fun with the gorgeous Butterfly Garden stamp set. There is a solid butterfly, and a lined butterfly, so adding color to the butterflies is a snap! I love the sentiments in this set, they are perfect for friendship cards!

 I veered away from nature but showcased the bright pink of the flower and the green of the stems from the photo inspiration for my next card!  I couldn't help sharing this yummy cookie card! I have had a blast, making cookie cards with the many variations IO produced. The Sugar Cookie is the last in the line and it's the only one left in the store. The Sprinkles and Confetti Stamp Set coordinates beautifully with the cookie!

Winter Charms & More - Christmas Card Hop Day 2

Hello and welcome to the second day of the IO Christmas Hop!  Today I am sharing two very different card styles.  The first one is mostly die cuts.  Unfortunately, these cute CHARMS are almost sold out with only 6 in stock.  I have loved using them as embellishments on my cards. The JOY sentiment is from the Fall Sentiments set.  The bright Christmas paper is from the Christmas Doodles paper pack, and it's a steal with the discount!  

The next card features the Cup of Holly Jolly stamp set. In this set, you'll find a variety of images that can be added to the top of the cup or stamped onto the cup itself.  I made a gift cup set with a stuffed Santa in the cup and a ribbon around the cup!  

Snowflakes & More - IO Christmas Card Hop Day 1

Hello and welcome to the IO Christmas Hop Day 1!  

Today I am featuring the Home for the Holidays stamp set. You can make a little village with the five houses in the set!  I used just one house for today's card and framed it with the beautiful Snowflake Frame.  

I am also posting this to the Splitcoasstampers Fan Club Challenge.  

My next card features the cute Penguin stamp set. That face is just too cute! I also used the Rounded Rectangle for layering!
