Little Things

When I have new stamps and dies I like to check out the challenges at Splitcoaststampers.  It's a great place to feature my cards and check out what other stampers are creating!  One of my favorite things to do is to celebrate other stampers so I participate in the Featured Stamper Challenge as often as I can.  Today I am combining the FS Challenge with the CAS Challenge.

Happy Galentine's

 Sometimes, I think there is a little too much pressure put on celebration days.  Valentine's Day is one of those days that can have too much expectation placed on it. When I texted my girl, "Happy Valentine's Day" yesterday, she responded with, "I don't do that day, I do E's Snack Day".  Well, that works!  Another fun thing to do is take a day and celebrate friendship with a Galentine! 

 Impression Obsession makes it easy to celebrate friendship with a wide variety of images and sentiments! I paired the Happy Galentine's Day sentiment with Besties for a colorful card. 

 I am also participating in this week's Inspiration Challenge at SCS!

I decided to stamp the inside with part of the image and I left it uncolored.  There is still plenty of space to write a greeting!

The February PFS Release Sparkles and Shines!

Hello!  It's Release Day at Picket Fence Studios and I am so excited to share with you what I have been working on this month! Also, Picket Fence Studios is having a Valentine's Day Sale so make sure to use HEART20 at check out to receive 20% off your order now through Sunday! 

First up, I stenciled the background with my LC Blender Brushes and the new Fancy Flourishes Stencil.  To create the sentiment I used the first part of a sentiment from Cheat Day and heat embossed it.  Next, I die cut the super fun Coffee Word and lastly, I added two cups of coffee from this coffee set!  I am smitten by that pink cup! If a coffee shop served coffee in a pink cup I would have to stop in at least once a week!

With this card, I am also participating in this week's Inspiration Challenge at SCS!

For my second card, I am excited to feature the new Picket Fence Studios Paper Glazes! The Glaze is so cool, it dries fairly quickly and leaves a glossy shine with a touch of shimmer. For the leafy background, I spread Fern Green Paper Glaze through the new Funky Leaf Stencil with a palette knife.  Then I took a bit of the glaze and thinned it with water to color Charlie. He is dazzling IRL!  Lastly, I heat embossed a sentiment from the new Favorite Notification set.

 For my last card today I wanted to give you another look at the Glaze!  This time I spread Ocean Poppy Glaze through the flower stencil and let dry.  Once dry I cut out the Petite Cup.  Wouldn't a cup of tea taste even better in a gorgeous cup like this?  Lastly, I added a fancy birthday sentiment.  I can tell you that this fancy sentiment set is going to see a lot of use!  I am smitten with the elegant font!

Fan Club - Merry Christmas Deer

I know, it's Valentine's Day tomorrow and here I am with a Christmas card, but at least it's pink!  :)   So why am I creating a Christmas card in February?  The Fan Club at SCS has a monthly Christmas Challenge.  It's so nice to work on Christmas cards all year long instead of rushing at the end of the year!  I am also combining this with Sabrina's WT779 Challenge to use buttons!

I am not sure if this cute little Dear Heart image is even a Christmas Deer but today she is!  I framed her with the gorgeous Stitched Square Frame from Impression Obsession.    I added a little bit of Winter Foilage in the corners of the frame and embellished the corners with fabulous Half Inch Buttons.  The button die is fabulous because with one pass of the die-cutting machine you get 15 buttons!  Lastly, I added a Christmas Sentiment from Holiday Words.

Heart Bouquet

Today is "Old is New Day" over at the Impression Obsession blog!  The IO team is featuring older stamps in new designs. I am featuring this darling Bouquet of Hearts because I am smitten by Nola's girls with their upturned faces of joy!  For the background piece, I repeatedly stamped the Love sentiment from the Faith and Love set.

Less Stressing

Hello and Happy Saturday to you!  

For this week's Inspiration Challenge at SCS, I am featuring this cute yoga girl!  I stenciled the background with the Flourish Circle Stencil, and Life-Changing Blender Brushes or LCBrush Bonus Set. Then I  popped up the cute die-cut yoga girl.  Easy Peasy with the help of the fabulous coordinating die!  I absolutely adore how easy it is to create unique cards with the Picket Fence Studios coordinating dies!

IO Hugs and Kisses Challenge

It's Hugs and Kisses day for the Impression Obsession Challenge! 

For the challenge, I am featuring the XOXO die from Love Words which means "kiss, hug, kiss, hug" or Hugs and kisses! :)  I layered the gorgeous eyelet hearts from lavender flowers design paper.  Then for the finishing touch, I added buttons.  I am obsessed with the Half Inch Button die!  The die cuts out 15 buttons at once!  It's perfect for adhering the buttons in two or three layers for more dimension without having to cut buttons over and over!
