This is my first time playing in the "Dare to Get Dirty" challenges at Splitcoaststampers.  I am having a blast and here are my entries so far:

FOSTV 31 - Die Cuts

Wow!  What a busy week!  In between some staycation fun with family I have created 9 cards for various challenges plus this cutie with die cuts for this week's FOSTV challenge at MFP a Heinrich CO.  It's a fun one this week using die cuts!!!  Talk about limitless possibilities!!!!!  You can join us right  HERE   for the challenge and a chance to win the stamp set pictured at the end of this post!   

 The die cuts used for this card are Sizzix Flower Layers #7, QuicKutz dragonfly and MFT Monarch Border.  I paper piced the center of the flower the gnome is holding and covered it in Glossy Accents and tiny black gemstones. The paper is from DCWV Autmn Melody Matstack.    I colored my little gnome with alcohol markers and shaded with colored pencils. My cute little gnome is from MFP a Heinrich CO. Garden Art stamp set.

Speedy Fox & Friends 118 - Child's Birthday Card

Welcome to another Saturday challenge with Speedy Fox & Friends!!  Our challenge this week is to make a Child's birthday card.  For my card this week I let my inner child run wild and piled it on!!  My Daughter was having a sleep over at the time I made this.  All 3 of us were crammed in my tiny craft room, cutting, gluing, stamping, and  paper flying!!!  The girls did a great job creating some fabulous cards!!  This is what I came up with!

I used Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co. Garden Art and Island Life to make this cheery birthday card!  I look forward to seeing all the birthday cards linked up.  Enjoy your weekend!

FOSTV Challenge 30 - Joy Fold Card

Happy Monday!!!  Yep, Once again I am opening my Monday blog post with "Happy Monday"!  It's always best to start out a Monday with a positive attitude, we never know where the day will take us!!  On that HAPPY note, today's challenge at Friends of Speedy TV is a JOY fold card!!!!  I will be honest with you this was my first Joy Fold card but certainly won't be my last!  It's such a fun card to make!!!!  Here is the link I used to get me started:  Splitcoastampers Tutorials. 

This one is for mom!  She loves pastels and gardening!   The green felt butterfly  is holding the card closed!  I used the adorable stamp set by Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co.: Garden Art.

When the card is opened this is what it looks like!  I added this dainty butterfly from the stamp set to the inside of the card!

Speedy Fox & Friends 117 - Christmas

The temps are scorching all over the U.S. this summer so I think a little Christmas in July challenge is a fabulous way to cool off!!!!  Head on over to Speedy Fox & Friends challenge and join us with a little holiday fun! FOSTV Challenge 28 - Sketch

Happy Monday to you!!!  We have a fun one for you this week at Friends of Speedy TV!  It's a sketch challenge  and I can't wait to see all the different interpretations of this sketch.  Hope to see your sketch here!

For  my card this week I am sneak peeking the fabulous new set from Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co. "Asian Delights". Check out the blog hop on Wednesday to see the wonderful projects the DT has created for you!

I stamped the image on the green DP first then the flowers were stamped twice.  I cut 4 of the flowers out and popped them up on foam pads.  I shaded both the leaves and the flowers with a bit of colored pencil.  The DP is Echo Park "This and That".  Thanks for looking!  I hope you have a fabulous week!

Speedy Fox & Friends - Masculine Birthday

If it's Saturday it must be Speedy Fox & Friends challenge time!  Our challenge this week is to make a masculine birthday card.  You can join us HERE to enter your masculine birthday card.   I loved making this card.   I  masked off part of the Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co.: Island Life,  using  only the boat and the land part of the stamp.   I stamped the sailboat a 2nd time and cut it out so that I could pop it up for some dimension.  The mast extended past my die cut so I cut the tip out and glued it behind the framelits die.  If you look closely you can see the sail was popped up too!

I forgot to take a photo of the inside before I wrote in it.  On the inside I stamped the entire sailboat stamp and added the sentiment stamp: HE ALONE STRETCHES OUT THE HEAVENS AND TREADS ON THE WAVES OF THE SEA. - Job 9:8

FOSTV Challenge 28 - Vacation

Woohoo for summer fun and vacations!!!  At Friends of Speedy TV we are going to celebrate summer by making a vacation card!  One randomly selected winner will receive the stamp set pictured at the bottom of this post! I can't wait to see your entry HERE.

 For my card I chose to make a beach tote card!!!  I used a stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co called Sand Dollar Mini.  This is a great little stamp set for the beach lover!!

I am not sure if you can tell from this angle but I added a good bit of bling!  Gemstones were placed in the word BEACH. and in the middle of the sand dollar.  I added some fun holiday ribbon for the handles.  Who says you can't use Christmas ribbon on a beach tote?!  It just adds to the bling!

Speedy Fox & Friends 115 - Blue and Green

It's challenge time with Speedy Fox & Friends!  This week's challenge is to make a project with blue and green.  I used watercolor paper, distress inks and a water mister to make the background for my butterfly.  I love the effect!  I heat embossed the butterfly and then sponged blue on it and popped him in the middle of the circle!  I used 2 stamp sets from Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co: Silly Shells and Today Tomorrow and Always.

FOSTV CHALLENGE 27 - Red, White and Blue

It's a new week...it's a new challenge at Friends of Speedy TV!  Our challenge this week is Red, White and Blue!  We hope to see your red, white and blue art work HERE.  One randomly picked winner will receive the stamp set  pictured at the bottom of this post!!

Ok, so if you read my blog 10 days ago you all know how I feel about the 4th.  To this point I have been too busy to be sad....but I can feel the day lurking just waiting to pounce!!!  LOL  So what better way to combat the blues then with Glad TIDEings?  Here is my red, white and blue!  The boat was paper pieced. The background is from S.E.I Desert Springs.  (LOL I made a card wtih a nautical theme from a desert themed paper stack!!!)  The stamp set is Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co. Silly Shells.
