Today I'm sharing a fun winter card featuring a darling skating snowman! This card was created to celebrate Carol, our Featured Stamper at Splitcoaststampers this week.
I started by cutting pieces of Winter Blues patterned paper from SweetMissDaisy Designs with the Stitched Triangles dies from Scrapbook.com to create the background. Next, I stamped the ice-skating snowman onto a large stitched circle. I colored his apparel in bold red and green, and he certainly makes quite the statement!
To add a little extra winter magic, I tucked die-cut snowflakes near the top and bottom corners of the circle. A sprinkling of sequins adds lots of sparkle, and I finished the card with the sentiment “Enjoy the Season” along the bottom.
To recreate this look, you can find stamps and papers in the SweetMissDaisy Designs Etsy shop
Card making is such a wonderful way to share creativity while sending something fun and handmade. Whether you're in a holiday mood or ready to add to your Christmas card stash, I hope today's card inspires you to spend some pleasant moments creating.
