Buggin' Ya yet?

If you are looking for my Red Rubber Design post follow me HERE!

**********

Hello, I have a cheerful card to share with you today!

I think the bugs in the "Buggin' Ya" Clear Stamp set are SO cute!  What makes these bugs even cuter?  A coordinating die set!!!  It's so much fun to stamp and color these critters, then use the "Buggin' Ya Die" instead of having to cut around all those tiny legs and antennae!

For the inside,  I used one of the twelve sentiments and inlaid the sentiment circle within the designer paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by now here's the
Fine Details!

For my design, I used a Tuesday Morning Sketch from a few weeks ago, Sketch #304.

Inspired By......

Hello, friends!

Angie here with a card inspired by, of all things, my bathroom!!!

I recently gave my bathroom a decor makeover that makes me smile every time I walk in!  As I pondered my next Sweet N Sassy project I thought it would be fun to see if I could recreate the black and white drama of my shower curtain.

Here's my Inspiration:

For my project, I ended up switching the accent color to pink instead of the dusty lavender because my cardstock in shades of purple didn't lend enough pop.

I inked up the gorgeous background flourish image from Leafy Flourish Background & More Clear Stamp Set and used the Splitcoasstampers sketch challenge, SC544 for my design.

I created multiple butterfly layers with the New Creature Die Set and embossed the top layer.

Thanks so much for looking, I hope you are inspired to get inky!

Americana and Red Rubber Designs

Hello and Happy Saturday!
I hope you are enjoying a beautiful summer day!
I have a  mini card set to share and some fun news. I have been invited to be part of the design team for Red Rubber Designs!!!

Red Rubber Designs believes, "Trends come and go, but stamping never goes out of style. Whether it’s a handmade card, scrapbook page, art journal or some other project, your stamps can be used to create a beautiful piece of art."   I love that!

So let's take a look at what I created with the beautiful

"Americana Stamps" cling mount set.

Even though there are four seasons depicted on these stamps I thought it would be fun to tie them together with patriotic colors to celebrate the 4th of July!

The sketch at Fusion Card Challenge was perfect for my mini set so I played along!

Thanks so much for stopping by on a summer Saturday!!!

Let's Hear if for the Boys!

Happy Friday!

Today we are taking a little time out to celebrate the special guys in our lives.

As I have mentioned in past posts my husband is an avid backpacker.  Before our kids were born we had grand adventures backpacking! I simply loved the hikes.  There's something  wonderfully peaceful about being out in the wilderness---during.the.day.  I am  a big chicken when it gets dark!  It's just plain scary.

Since my special guy loves the wilderness I colored and fussy cut the campfire from "Camping Fun Clear Stamp Set" but then I hit a few snags.  After trying several things that didn't make me smile, inspiration struck and I chuckled out loud.

I paired the soothing sentiment, "relax and enjoy" with some spooky googly eyes reflecting in the flames!

I hope you enjoyed my walk on the silly side!  Now make sure you visit the rest of my teammates as they share their tributes to the special guys in their life.

Summertime Stamping!

Hello, Angie here!

Summer is here and that means longer daylight hours and more color in our gardens!  Coneflowers are one of my favorite flowers so I reached for the beautiful Sweet 'N Sassy stamp set, "Flowers in Bloom".

I added lots of dimension to the butterfly by adding three layers to the base wing and then popping up the fourth layer with a sticky foam pad.

This week's Tuesday Morning Sketches is sponsored by Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps so I thought it would be fun to play along with their sketch!

I changed it up a bit by leaving off the stars and adding enamel dots and I used, "Doily Border Dies" for the division between embossed paper and designer paper.

For the inside I added the beautiful sentiment by Laura E. Newell that is one of the four sentiments included in the "Flowers in Bloom" Clear Stamp Set.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Angie
