Shoes

My husband says I have figured out how to even make creating into a game!  In a way he is right!  I LOVE to create but I love it, even more, when I can enter my card into an online challenge, hence the game!  For today's card, I peeked into the VSN thread at SCS and found Lisa's challenge: These Shoes Were Made for Walking.  The main VSN happened this past weekend but the lovely hostesses give us a whole week to upload!

This beautiful girl and coordinating die by Picket Fence Studios fits Lisa's challenge with her amazing shoes.  You can also purchase her as a bundled set at a discounted price! The overall theme for this VSN challenge is about "traveling from here to there".  Are you wondering how a birthday card fits a traveling theme?  Well, both my sister and my daughter share the same birthdate in June so both of them tend to be on vacation for their birthdays.  I don't remember it ever bothering my sister but my daughter hates to have her birthday while on vacation even though we always make it a special day.

For the background, I stamped the gorgeous Wild Rose Bouquet then popped up Kate with the ease of the coordinating die!  I just love not having to fussy!  Another thing I love about this particular die is that it cuts out the opening between Kate's back and the shoulder strap of the purse!  I can never get nice cuts like that with an exacto knife!

I am also playing along with Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.  They have a gorgeous mood board to inspire us this week! It's easy to see which photo inspired my background!
