Impression Obsession Spring Die Release - Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of the Impression Obsession Spring Die Release.

Each day (April 1st - 3rd) you can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog at 6am. Every single blog will have a $25 gift certificate to give away for the event - so the more you comment through our Release Celebration the more chances to win! All comments for all of the event days will be open until Sunday 7th at noon CT. All winner will be announced on Monday, April 8th.

Today I am featuring two framing dies.  First up is DIE802Z Cat & Bird Frame .  There are so many ways to feature this beautiful die but for today's projects, I went with all white framing.  For this card, I created a watercolor background with Picked Raspberry distress ink.

For my next card, I am featuring this sweet DIE804Z Dog & Bird Frame.  For the background, I used a watercolor from my stash. I think the scenes in these dies are so elegant and sweet!

The IO spring release has so many fun things from stitched banners to animals and you can view all of them now in the store!  Click HERE to shop!

Now all you need to do to for a chance to win a $25.00 Gift Voucher is leave a comment telling me if you have ever shared your heart and home with a cat or a dog?

Thanks so much for stopping by this week! Don't forget to come back tomorrow for the new IO Challenge! I have a fun floral card featuring THIS stunning set!  The best part of the challenge is that you get to play along by creating and linking your card for a chance to win a Gift Voucher!

  2. I loved these dies when I saw them yesterday on the IO blog. I am a dog person but swore I wouldn't get another one when I lost my beloved pekingese in 2018. But a dear friend dying of cancer asked me to give her girls (2 chihuahuas) a loving home during her illness and after she passed so I am back in the dog business and loving it! Great cards, Angela!!

  3. These dies are beautiful and there's so much potential with them. It would be fun to make backgrounds for days and then pop the diecut on top of the background.

    1. I agree! It really makes me want to play with my gel press! I have had it for years and only played with it once, not because I don't like it but I never seem to make the time. I think gel press backgrounds would be fun behind these intricate dies!
