A favorite Author and a Birthday Card.

This week's Teapot Challenge is very interesting!  I would encourage you to check out the Inspiration for the challenge even if you aren't into creating a card!  My "Room" is the Jane Austen room.  I love her stories and the room is elegant with a lot of white space!

My card was a joy to create.  I used the Twine 6x6 Stencil by Picket Fence Studios and Lime Zinnia Paper Glaze mixed with Paper Glaze Enhancer.  The sentiment is from the Wild Peonies set.  I sprinkled a few of the lovely Creme de Menthe sequins for a finishing touch.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

  5. So charmingly sweet and pretty! I adore Jane Austen's writing as well. Back in 2014, while on holiday, my DH and I had the pleasure of attending a theater group in Victoria, BC perform a live play of Pride and Prejudice. They did a marvelous job and that evening stands out as one of my favourite theater performances I've ever seen.
