Gingham for the July IO Team Favorites

Hi, I am sharing a few gingham favorites for the IO July Team Favorites.

First, I used pretty paper from the Gingham Paper pack and made a wavy border with the Edges 2 Die set. Next, I stamped the mushroom and the mouse from the sweet Enchanted Woodlands stamp set and colored them. The mouse is the sweetest! I stamped the sentiment on a Rounded Rectangle Layer to finish the project.  

My next card features gingham paper from the Mini Gingham Paper Pack.  I used the Stitched Tag #5 for the background of my summer scene. I fussy-cut the sun from the Summer Sunshine set and stamped flowers from the Alphabet Hello stamp set. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment on a Small Tag.  The Small Tags dies are so cute with several designs; they are just right for small sentiments!

High Tide, Good Vibes - IO Summer Color Challenge

Hello! IO has a new monthly theme, "Color Challenge".  This month is summer colors, beach blue, juice red, and sandy brown.  I used the banner below as my prompt and included blue and red in my summer beach vacation card.

I combined my scene's summer sets, Just Add Water and Summer Sunshine. The background is from Heart Gingham. The layering dies are Rounded Rectangle Layers and Crazy Stitched Set.

National Simplicity Day

  This week for the F4All Challenge we are celebrating National Simplicity Day. On this day, we commemorate the birthday of Henry David Thoreau, a 19th-century American philosopher and naturalist. Thoreau thought that simplicity brought about reduced stress and increased productivity. So happy Simplicity Day!  

For my card, I kept it very simple with the Slide Frame. To mimic the look of a slide, I colored Nola's beautiful image in a neutral brown. The image and sentiment are from the Love and Encouragement stamp set.

Seasons - Impression Obsession Release Hop Day 3

Hello and welcome to the IO July Hop Day 3!

First up is one of my favorites for this month! I had a blast making a beach scene with Nola's cute Just Add Water stamp set. To add some extra detail, I fussy-cut the little beach sign and popped it up. I also used the Heart Tiles paper pack and the Crazy Stitched Set layering die.    

Next, I took a break from the "seasons" theme for chocolate! I used the following items, listed below.

Retro Day - IO July Release Hop Day 2

Hello, and welcome to the Impression Obsession Release Hop Day 2! You can find all the details below.

I created a piece of wall art for my first project. I framed an old photo of my kids with the retro Slide Frame Die. The Slide is a lovely design element to feature photos or stamped images. This die made me think of my early years. My dad dabbled in photography for a while. I can still smell the photo chemicals. It was magical seeing the white paper transformed into images! However, I was not impressed with the slides. Haha.  I wanted to see pictures! 

Additionally, I used the adorable tiny hearts from the Tiny Tags Sayings Set to stamp on the tag. Last, I used some lovely patterned paper from the Heart Tiles paper as a background.

Next, I had fun with the Happy Mail stamp set and the Large Postage Stamp Die. Happy Mail is one of three new mail stamps. I also used Heart Gingham Paper and a Rounded Corner Sentiment 2 Die.

Happy Everything - IO July Release Hop

Hello. Happy Everything is today's theme for my Impression Obsession Release Hop post!  I have a dash of fall, sunny summer, and dreams of the future!

Fall is where we are headed with my first card.  I made a Fall Scene with the cute squirrel from Enchanted Woodlands. The border and Small Tags were made with the lovely Summer Garden paper pack. For Mr. Squirrel, a fall scene was created using the Cloud Grass Scene and Edgers Stencils.  I always say to myself, "Oh, nuts, I am late," when I mail cards later than expected.  This set is certain to get a lot of use!  

Next, I made a dreamy card with the Summer Flutterbys Set! I added a sentiment from the Listen Doll set. The background paper is from Daisy Chain and the image layer is from my favorite Crazy Stitched Set.

The last card will be used to send warm sunshine on any happy occasion. I utilized the fantastic Rays die set to create this summery scene. This set consists of two dies that perforate the paper, leaving a circular layer intact without cutting it out.  After that, I incorporated the Edgers Stencil and the charming chick from Alphabet Words - Hello. The sentiment, taken from the Tiny Tag Sayings set, was then stamped onto a Small Tag. Because of its cheerfulness and adaptability, "happy everything" is a phrase I love adding to cards.

Hi!  This week's F4All Challenge is Friends! 

These adorable otters are part of the super cute Just the Two of Us stamp set.  The set includes several sweet pairings!  

I made the background with Distress inks and water then die cut the layer with the Crazy Stitched Set.  The sentiment was stamped on a Rounded Rectangle Layer.  A sprinkle of sequins and done!

Arrr Matey, this week, it's all about stencils for the Impression Obsession Product Focus!  Impression Obsession has a lovely array of stencils. The one I used for this project is Lacy Paws.  I paired it with the cute Pirate Life stamp set and inked everything in purples.  I also used the Rounded Rectangle 1 and Rounded Rectangle Layers.
