Birthday

Our neighbor is celebrating a birthday tomorrow.    He is a fabulous  "Mr. Fix It" and has an incredible shop!    MFT's Tool charms arrived just in time for all the upcoming masculine events!!!

I took my "Swiss Dots" Cuttlebug embossing folder and inked the side with the raised dots.  After embossing,  one side had raised Swiss Dots but I flipped the paper over to the inverted dots with just a bit of ink in the holes to give the look of a tool peg board!!!

To add just a bit more texture I used Tim Holtz Grunge paper for the tag!

TFL!

Late!!! FOSTV 12

I am late, I am late.....I can't seem to quite get everything to everyone on time.  I always seem to miss someone!!!  I am late sending out a package to my niece and nephew so I thought this would be the perfect stamp set for my nephew's card!!!  The inside of the card says:  "Bear with me....I forgot."
I am entering this card into Friends of Speedy TV challenge 12 . They actually have 2 challenges running right now!!  For this challenge we were supposed to use a border punch.  I like this Dahlia Dimensional punch for this card.  I like the points instead of it being frilly since it's a masculine card.  This punch actually gives you the ability to make rolled flowers...but I love it for a border too!!!

Punch: ek success Dahlia Dimensional punch
Paper: atd Great Outdoors
Stamp: Mark's Finest Papers Heinrich Collection North American Woods

Unity March challenge

So....it's high 80's here in mid march and we are still trying to hold off using the A/C.  I didn't realize how challenging making a Christmas Card in the summer months was going to be!  You would think the snowflakes on my card might cool me off...but not so much!  I made this card for my Christmas Card Challenge over at SCS but decided to double the fun using the Unity challenge as my inspiration!!!!!

Our challenge was to use a window or door opening.
I used SU Framelits Labels collection for my opening.
I made a sizzlits snowflake but it was too large so I just cut off the ends of the snowflake. If I hadn't mentioned it in my post I don't think anyone would have ever known!!!!  My banner was cut using MFT First Place Ribbon die!  I LOVE that die!
My stamp was Unity/Ippity Pain and Pride!!!  I first saw this little guy while doing a blog hop....I couldn't wait to add him to my collection!!!!  Expression on his face.....PRICELESS!!!!
TFL!!!

Birthday Card - CIC47

I have been a little slow in creating cards due to another bout with vertigo.  This one only lasted 2 1/2 weeks but it took LONGER to get my creativity flowing again!  Nothing like a special birthday to inspire me to some stamping time!  My dear friend loves the beach so what a wonderful time to get my  SHORE TREASURES from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS!  I popped up one of the logs on a foam dot as well as the bird.  I purposely made the banner a bit wavy.  The Clam is super fun!  I made a second clam and popped it up so it looks like it is open to reveal a pearl!!!  I added a touch of Glossy Accents to give the clam some shine!

I am entering this into:Clearly Inspired Challenge #47 (CIC47)
