WOYWW # 261 - A big MESS is what's on mine!

Hello WOYWWers and friends!!  I decided to play WOYWW with a VERY untidy desk this week!    Julie at Stamping Ground is the hostess of this round-the-world weekly event!

We are in the middle of a "staycation" this week and a very busy one indeed.  Lots of events happening this week at our house.  I am also using the time in between family time and running to the next activity to create a few cards and that's why my desk looks like this!

I have created two 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 cards for MFP that will be blogged for the next two Saturdays. (not shown)
The paper stack sitting all helter sketter is for the Splitcoaststampers VSN/PPRS card that is in hiding (corner barely showing left edge of photo.  The card that is completely visible is for a fun VSN challenge although, nothing is glued down yet and might get turned into something else!

A red rubber stamp is sitting on the acrylic block and was used earlier today for the VSN/PPRS as well as the clear set reflecting the glare from the lamp.

Crazy mess, isn't it?  I don't know how I can actually work like this but no matter how much I enjoy a clean work space, it always ends up looking like a disaster!

So that's it for me this week.  I look forward to seeing what you have on your desk today!

Happy WOYWW!!!

  1. Love looking at your workspace and all your crafty goodies! That's a cute card in the works!

  2. Now, that is a fun desk! Lots of fun papers and your card is lovely. I think the flower you made is pretty! Enjoy your staycation! I love those kinds. Thanks for the kind visit this morning!

  3. Hi Angie I thought I recognised you from SCS,
It`s a busy desk you have there. I love the flower resting on the card.

  4. It may be mayhem on your desk, but you're creating some really pretty stuff there! The flower on that card is really pretty!
    Hugs, LLJ xx

  5. THAT is how mine looked yesterday pre-cleaning. I HAD to clean it, even the floor looked like that. LOL Gilbert always wonders how I can create in such a mess.'s just what happens.

  6. So Julia isn't the only desker on holiday - enjoy your staycation! Your desk looks fun. Helen

  7. Hi Angie I love your busy space this week. And that card is indeed a cute card in the works.

  8. Mmmm, looks familiar Angie but so what, love the card you've started, hope to see it finished too.
Happy crafting, Angela x @Felix the Crafty Cat #7

  9. You know those WOYWWers like the messy desks better anyway!! I agree, you start out with it neat and 5 seconds later it looks like a hurricane went through. How does that happen?!

  10. What a fun workspace Angie, I am sure lots of great projects will be made there.

    Hugs Diane

  11. My desk always looks like that mid-project (and, I have to confess, at other times, too!!) It's impossible to keep on top of it all the time, and I bet you know where to put your hand on most things. Have a great week, Chris # 10

  12. Happy WOYWW! Oh yes, my desk is often a disaster, too! It's all a cycle of messy and tidy, isn't it?
    Blessings and hugs,
    peggy aplSEEDS @24

  13. Angie, this is what my desk looks like most of the time!!! Every now and again I would pack everything away neatly, but as soon as I start on a card it ends up like this - and the more cards I make the worse it gets!!!! I just can't keep my place tidy!! But as long as you have fun at your desk it doesn't matter what it looks like, hey!!!

Have a great weekend and enjoy the holidays with the kids!!!

  14. Waving at you Angie! :) That flower on the card looks interesting! I can't keep my desk clean! #17

  15. great looking mess that looks very creative to me! I haven't been able to post on Wednesdays for a while and I have missed it! Sorry I am so late getting around! Thanks for sharing. Vickie #62

  16. I prefer to call your desk...Creative genius. LOL Keep smiling and creating.

You make my day with your sweet comments!!!! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
