Happy Summer!!!
Our teens have been out of school a week already and we have just gotten home from a trip to the beach! We have taken trips to the mountains, we have gone out West but we have never been to the beach with the kids so we thought we better head to the beach before our son graduates next year!!!
I created this with Sweet 'N Sassy's lovely "Ocean Paradise" Stamp set for my sweet friend. Her oldest graduated High School last week and now she needs a little vacation!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Angie
Ah Angie, this is so cute! Love the beach theme scene! Beautiful colors too!!
ReplyDeleteOh, Angie, this is beautiful, and I'm so glad you had a time at the beach. Growing up in NJ, we went "to the shore" all the time, and we love living here in South Florida with the beautiful beaches and weather. What a wonderful card for your friend's daughter. Yes, she sure needs (and deserves) a vacation. Hugs, sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteLovely card - could get quite comfy in that chair. Wow first trip to the beach for the kids - amazing. Dave goes every day at the moment - its horrible and pebbly though!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card and such beautiful colouring! You have been busy I hope you have a relaxing day today

Hi, Angie!!!! Hope you had a lovely time at the beach!!!!! (definately not beach weather here - it's cold and windy!!!!) And I LOVE that beautiful beach scene you've got on your card!!!!! As always, the colouring is perfect and I love how you have added all the red elements!!!! Such a lovely card, Angie - I like it a LOT!!!! (and surely so does your friend!!!)
ReplyDeleteHave a great time with the kids at home!!! My two are busy with mid-year exams - school closes on 26 June for the winter break - can't wait for the holiday - then I can sleep a bit later!!!!!
Hugz!!!
What a pretty card! It's been 8 years since I have been to a beach...so I think I am a bit overdue! smile. I have this sweet 'N Sassy stamp set and it has yet to see ink. You have so inspired me to get it out and use it.
ReplyDeleteThis is so relaxing! I love the snippets of dotted paper in this. Very crisp.
