Christmas Blessings with The Project Bin


Happy Saturday everyone!  Today I am sharing a bright Christmas card featuring Luke 2 from The Project Bin.  I am having so much fun creating Christmas cards with this set!

The negative pine branch die cut from Monday's project was still sitting on my desk and that gave me the idea to use it as a stencil.  I drew thin lines with my paint brush, then went back over the branches with an Elegant Writer Pen.  I added more greenery to the pine branches with Inktense pencils.  For the background, I sponged Broken China distress ink and moved the ink around with an aqua brush.


  For the finishing touches, I splattered a bit of brown paint on the scene then I stamped the greeting from the Luke 2 stamp set.  I think this sentiment is so striking with the bold cursive font!  A bit of "snow" was splattered with acrylic paint followed by texture paste snow clumps on the pine branches.

  2. i love the gold flecks you added which are hardly noticable and yet add so much. that strip of glitter tape is perfect to give that frosty feel of winter.
