Welcome to The Project Bin’s premiere Christmas in July Blog Hop!
We are so glad you are here! The elves at The Project Bin have been very busy. For the next 2 days, July 15 and 16, the design team will be showcasing the stamps and dies from the store and bringing you a handcrafted Christmas! You’ll see Christmas cards, holiday projects and ideas to inspire creativity to jump start your holiday planning. Our sleigh ride will take you to each designer’s blog where you can peek at what they have showcased using The Project Bin’s stamps and dies. AND since the holidays are known for gift giving, 2 lucky winners will receive one of the 2 generous The Project Bin gift certificate giveaways to use in the store!
If you are new to The Project Bin stamps and dies, you are in for a real treat! The Project Bin offers clear stamps and metal dies with truly something for everyone. The hop begins at The Project Bin’s inspiration blog and has the full line up.
If you arrived from Kelly McKown-Santi's amazing blog, you are in the right place!
For my project, I created an ornament & card set featuring the sweet Joyful Song stamp set.
I love the technique of stamping ink on a craft mat, spritzing with water and swishing mixed media paper through the watery ink so I couldn't wait to get my hands on the new distress oxide inks!! The background for my card and ornament was created with Faded Jeans and Wilted Violet Oxide inks.

I love that this sentiment curves right along with the stitched border!
For the ornament, I die cut two scalloped squares. This not only gives the ornament more durability but I glued the back sides together so the back of the ornament is pretty too.
If I am your first stop make sure to start at The Project Bin Blog and leave a comment for each of the stops on the hop ~ you won’t want to miss it! Be sure to come back to The Project Bin blog tomorrow to see more holiday inspiration!
