Growing in Unity Day 3 - Cats Rule

Hello Everyone!  Welcome back to Growing in Unity day 3!
Today I am sharing cards with my all-time favorite subject - Cats!

For my first project, I am featuring Hallow's Eve Kitty from Unity Stamp Co.
I love this image!

Check out the adorable heart on her back!

We share our home and our hearts with two hilarious felines.
Lil Bit has a pose (not the pose in the pic) that reminds me of  Unity's Meowy cat.   On the day this photo was taken I found her in her boy's room snuggled on his blankets mourning his return to college.

Storm is our little Miss Mischief, she has to have daily snuggle time or she will wander around hollering and knocking things over!  She is the inspiration for all my naughty kitty cards.

My next card is for today's sketch challenge at Splitcoaststampers SC667.  I thought since this is my Growing in Unity week I would combine my sketch card sample with GIU in order to have a second card to share today.  For this card, I am featuring Meow Meow Meow and added a hat from the Meowy  kit.  I masked off the heart speech bubble of the Meow Meow Meow image to fit my sketch.  Papers by Gina K Designs - Poppy Prints.

The story goes that mama cat wanted a family photo.  Lil Bit jumped right up, dressed in matching bow and sat in kitty princess pose just like mama.  Storm gave in and put on a tie but most certainly not matching and just for good measure she added a cozy hat to match her bow. No princess pose for her, she barely sat still long enough to get in the photo at all!

Thanks so much for stopping by, don't forget to leave a comment for an extra chance to win one of two fabulous prize packages!

"See" you tomorrow!

  8. I love the colors on the purple and black card. The sky blends into the perrrfect sunset. I would not have noticed the little heart on the kitty's back the first time I looked at the card if you had not pointed it out. How clever!

The second card has such great color combinations I just love it. It must have taken a lot of time to create such detail. It reminds me a little bit of a story I loved as a child, "The Three Little Kittens." Such cute kittens on your card too, and all ready for winter reading with their glasses on!

  10. Oh, these are fabulous, Ang, and I love the adorable heart shape in the silhouette cat. What a beautiful background you've made for it. And the trio are ADORABLE and more! Cuter than cute! Your sweet kitties are adorable, and I know how much they each have their own personalities. Been a cat person many years ago! They are so much more fun than dogs! LOL! Hugs!

I am owned by just one young (10 month old) cat, Tinker by name and he is a real Tinker!! Mischief personified, and he and the neighbours cat Tom, (10 yrs old) both rescue cats, get on well and will romp and play fight for most of the day!! And both try to help themselves to the others food too!

This week, the F4All Challenge theme is "Anything Goes." I chose an easy challenge since this is such a hectic time of year. Sadly...
