Colorful Autumn

Happy Weekend everyone!

Today I am going to share two cards I created with the New Leaf stamp set by The Project Bin.

I was inspired by the FF17Simplybeautiful and F4A399 challenges at Splitcoaststampers.  The Free For All challenge from Wendy is to create a different kind of Autumn card using colors you wouldn't ordinarily use and the Falliday Fest challenge from Ceal is to use acrylic block stamping.

Wendy suggested we walk outside and look at the varying colors of the leaves as inspiration for our "Different kind of Autumn" card.  When I look up at our trees I see mostly green leaves with just a hint of pink here and there surrounded by  beautiful deep blue skies.  With the sky as my inspiration, I stamped
Broken China, with a hint of Worn Lipstick and Spiced Marmalade Oxide Inks on an acrylic block, spritzed with water and stamped on cardstock.

Falliday Fest is an event held at Splitcoaststampers during the month of October.  There will be a total of 30 challenges and several card drives plus prizes!

My second card was created the same as the one above but with an emphasis on Spiced Marmalade and hints of Worn Lipstick and Broken China Oxide Inks.

This card is headed for one of the card drive destinations for Falliday Fest.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Here's one more look at this fabulous stamp set!
