Kinda Sorta

Hello! I get to share one of two new stamp sets in The Project Bin shop!  Today's feature is Kinda Sorta, with four fun sentiment stamps and two frame stamps.

I chose this amazing paper from a stack called Boho.  I love the way the foil catches the light.  The flowers were purchased at the same time and are meant to go with the paper stack.

The sentiment I chose seems particularly applicable to me these days.  Some days I think I don't have ANY of the answers but I do have love and prayers, lots of prayers.

Thanks so much for stopping by, it makes my day!

Touches Your Heart

For today's card, I paired a #bff sentiment from The Project Bin with the heart die from the In My Heart stamp & die set.  The sentiment is especially meaningful at this time.  I have been shown kindness that touches my heart from friends both near and far.  Just this weekend, I received more beautiful handmade cards designed by sweet friends from the Splitcoaststampers Community.  Pretty hugs in an envelope!

Since it was a long weekend and our son was able to come home we moved his 21st birthday celebration a few weeks early and celebrated him this weekend  It was a lovely weekend.  I always miss our son when he heads back to school but this time it was a little harder so when I sat down later in the evening to design this week's Project Bin card, I looked for a little inspiration.  I found the inspiration I needed from this week's Featured Stamper at SCS.  I love THIS beautiful CAS design by Lisa.

SC679, Patterned Paper, and a Smile

It's Wednesday and that means a new sketch challenge at Splitcoaststampers.  SC679 is brought to us by Cathy and it's a lovely sketch!

I distressed the edges then chose this sentiment from the #bff stamp set by The Project Bin.  I have someone special in mind for this.  This friend is full of sparkle!  Every post she creates, every comment she makes overflows with enthusiasm and sweetness.

I am playing along with the following challenges:

Squishy Hugs

Everyone knows I love pink and Valentine's Day is all about pink but as I was putting together this card I was thinking about someone who loves green.  I love the words and design of this sentiment from the In My Heart stamp set by The Project Bin which was designed to fit the heart die that is included in the set.

I have a goal this year to use up some of the wonderful designer paper I have acquired so with that in mind, I chose fun papers then stamped the sentiment in the middle of the spreadsheet paper.  I die cut the heart surrounding the sentiment then I die cut a heart from a piece of foam craft paper so that the heart is completely raised.

I love you so much I could squish every one of my blog readers in a big hug!

For You in Blue

The IC631 Challenge at Splitcoaststampers is brought to us this week by Julie.  She has chosen a rich site for us to be inspired by.  I was inspired by the beautiful artwork HERE.

I die cut flowers and leaves from SU! Bouquet Bunch and stamped the sentiment from the SU! Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.  For this card, I went simply with die cutting and sponging since I am still taking things very easy and even a little thing like extra stamping steps can be overwhelming.  In the future, I look forward to creating a grand variety of floral cards!

If you are looking for an SU! demo, look no further than Lydia at Understandblue!

Vases and a sketch

Hello!  I am a little late with this post but the fun thing about playing in a Splitcoaststampers challenge is they never expire!

I created this card for Cathy's SC678 sketch challenge.  It's a great sketch offering lots of possibilities!

I am featuring all Prickley Pear stamps products on this card.  I stamped the flowers from the Spring Scalloped Circle stamp set and added a sentiment from the Scalloped Circle Oval 5 stamp set.  The vases are one of three dies in the Mini Vases die set.  I die cut three and colored them with Copics then popped them up.

A super easy but striking card for those days when life doesn't allow much time for stamping.

Fun to do the Impossible

Happy New Year!
Well, maybe a day late but still it's my first post of the new year.  I hope you had a sweet celebration.  Ours was very quiet but we were all home together and that is time to treasure with an almost 21-year-old and a 17-year-old!

At the beginning of a new year it's always fun to think of it as a fresh start, therefore, I chose this sentiment from the Wise Men stamp set by The Project Bin to encourage us all to try something that maybe we have failed at in the past.

I heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of designer paper that looks like a chalkboard.  I created a frame by using a wood grain die, added some flowers and a ribbon hanger.
