Happy Weekend! Stacy is this week's Inspiration Challenge hostess at SCS. She has taken us to a fabulous site with loads of inspiration! I found amazing cups to inspire me. IRL I love dishware, chunky mugs, fine china, glass plates, you name it, I love dishes and cups! Some of my personal favorites are a black mug in the shape of a cat, a mug with blue art and perfectly smooth glazing. The mugs with the names of the colleges my kids attend are fun. A pink kitty mug my daughter brought home from her Disney trip is high on my favorite list...oh well, I have too many favorites you are going to lose interest if I keep listing them! :)
So when I saw the stamp and die for this big coffee mug I couldn't wait to add color! I stamped part of this gorgeous bouquet stamp on the mug and colored it with Copics. I know I love relaxing with a yummy cup of coffee and pondering life, so I added this encouraging sentiment.
Same mug, same pattern, and the sentiment is from the same set as above but I changed the background and added a doily. Which one do you like best?
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see you in the IC gallery!

Both cards are wonderful Angie - love that mug and the beautiful floral stamp on it. The two sentiments made me smile, and to be honest I don't have a favourite as I like them both

eeps. love the sentiment on the bottom. i think after gazing and gazing, i like the top one best. i love how you did the coffee with the white in the center.
ReplyDeleteI had to come find your blog because I was sure you were a DT for a company but I couldn't remember the name of the company...yep...The Project Bin...I was uploading to my gallery and wanted to include the name of the set and company, too lazy to go to put down the computer and walk to the end of the house to find the information in the stamp room, but my brain could not remember anything other than your SCS username. Ha...found you on SCS and followed to your blog, how's that for the way a 61-year old's brain works!
ReplyDeleteI also like the stamps I have from Picket Fence and of these 2 cards, I prefer the second one with the doily as it appears to be setting on the table by my brown chair and I could have a cup of hot water while we visit!
Happy Wednesday
