No Foolin' - Merry Christmas

It might be April 1st on the calendar, but I love creating Christmas cards all year! I belong to the Fan Club Christmas Challenge at SCS, and we have a new challenge. We would love for you to join us!   

The Sizzix Layered Christmas Tree was a little like a puzzle, but since I love puzzles, I enjoyed myself. I did minor surgery on the sentiment because I only wanted the Merry Christmas part and realized I always mask off the rest. So why not do the surgery and make it simpler Inside Quotes - Christmas is on clearance right now while supplies last!

Easy Birthday Watercolor

Hi! It's my turn to host the Watercolor Wednesday Challenge at SCS. I chose a fun tutorial with an easy technique that will take me some time to master!  :)   I enjoyed the practice even if my flowers didn't turn out exactly how I wanted them to.  I added a sentiment from the Cottage Ivy Chair Set for my greeting.  See the set below with a link to the store!

Patterned Paper Blooms - IO March Day 2 Release Hop & Giveaway

I made a patterned paper panel behind the colorful blossom paper by stamping the Tiny Dot Texture on cardstock.  Next, I selected this beautiful piece of paper from the Spring Scenes paper pack.  The sentiment is from the new Garden Sayings, stamped on a Rounded Corner Sentiment strip.  

I had a lot of fun with this next card.  I love the little seed starter image.  The paper is from the Tiny Flowers pack, and the sentiment is from Garden Smiles.

Spring in the Air - IO March Release Hop & Giveaway

Hello and welcome to the Impression Obsession March Release Hop!

When I laid out all my Impression Obsession March cards in prep for photographing, I was struck by how cheerful they all looked! I so enjoyed using all of the March products to make happy cards!  I hope you are inspired and enjoy the hop.

First up, this is my favorite!  This floral paper in the Tiny Flowers paper pack made a great Umbrella! The umbrella is easy to use and has pretty stitched details that can't be seen easily in the photo.  The background is Postage Cuts, and the sentiment is from the sweet sentiment set, Spring Things.

I love Coneflowers IRL, so making paper Coneflowers with the new die set was a delight.  To make the background, I sponged ink randomly on water-friendly cardstock and then splattered it with water.

Seasonally Yours

Yesterday, I was feeling an All-Season personality! LOL  First, I made a Christmas card for the SCS Fan Club Christmas Challenge, then moved on to an Easter card for the SCS Watercolor Wednesday Challenge!  

Let's check out the Easter card first. Sadly this sweet bunny is retired; it's high on my favorite list. I stamped with no-line ink and then free-handed the blushing cheeks. She turned out so cute!  

This next card was so fun to create. Easy peasy with a piece of Christmas background paper. Here is what I used:
