It’s been one of those weeks—power outages, several days without internet, and workmen renovating the house with all the noise and dust for extra intensity! So I’m combining blog posts and sharing a double dose of cardmaking goodness!
First up is this super sweet card featuring Sisters & Friends from the SweetMissDaisy Designs collection. The soft background is made with the Spring Mini Gingham paper pack, also from SweetMissDaisy. Isn’t it lovely? This image instantly made me think of my own sister as I colored it. I especially adore the sentiment inside:
“Sisters, different flowers from the same garden.”
It’s such a tender thought and perfect for this image.
This card was inspired by #ArtNudge 425A and 425B—a creative challenge that’s always full of inspiration. You can even link up your own project for a chance to win a prize!
I chose this with this week's F4A790 Challenge at Splitcoaststampers in mind. The challenge is "All Dressed Up." We would love for you to join us!

Card Two: A Sentiment Straight from the Heart
My second card is also inspired by Art Nudge 425B. I challenged myself to include almost all the colors from the Nudge palette—and I love how it turned out!
For the background, I stamped one of the Small Backgrounds from SweetMissDaisy Designs in green ink on green cardstock for a subtle texture. Then I layered it up with a bright red circle and a crisp white half-circle, both die cut using the Eyelet Circle Die Set.
The sweet and simple sentiment, “I love you!”, is from the Sisters & Friends set featured on the first card. It’s something most sisters have said a thousand times—and never too many.
Thanks for hanging in there with me through a hectic week! I’ll be back soon with more inspiration. In the meantime, I hope you get a chance to check out the Art Nudge challenge and SweetMissDaisy Designs shop! 💛
2 cute cards and I like the sentiment you added. Some gardens produce weeds not flowers!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun colors you chose. They are both adorable. I especially like the contrast the white half circle gives. I hope you're feeling better.
