My first card showcases the new stamp set, "Love Script". I stamped the love script on DP and then spritzed it with gold shimmer spary. I distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz Distressing tool and then sponged a bit of "Victorian Velvet" on the edges. My son came in while I was working on this card and started chatting with me. I wasn't happy with the look of the triple layered heart so I took off the top layer and as I did so it tore. My son cracked me up....right in the middle of his conversation he didn't miss a beat but said...."now you have gone and done it...you have a mess there!" I laughed so hard! It was just so amusing to hear that flow into his conversation and when I thought he wasn't paying any attention to what I was doing!
My second card showcases this month's mini set: Big cupcake. I let myself go on this one and enjoyed my pink girly side!!! I paper pieced the candy hearts and gave them some glaze with Glossy Accents. I also paper pieced the cupcake liner. For a little fun I added the white bow and pearls. Looks good enough to eat to me!!!
