Speedy Fox & Friends 154 - Bookmark

Happy Saturday!  I hope you have had a great week.  Ours was very enjoyable since we had spring break this week!  The break was wonderful but it's always too short!!!  Our daughter spent much of the week in Washingtong DC with her chorus group.  That was different for mom and dad being so far away from our girl!  So here we are at Saturday and it's time for a brand new challenge at Speedy Fox & Friends.  We are creating bookmarks this week.  For more inspiration and all the details on the challenge join us HERE .

I created two bookmarks.  The first is a corner bookmark.  This project took me back in time!  A corner bookmark was the first thing I found on Youtube when I first started stamping.  This was before I found MFP or SCS and my DH suggested I check out Youtube for paper craft ideas.   I had fun creating several and giving them away to the receptionists at my children's school!   Today was my first time creating a corner bookmark since that May, a couple of years ago.

This is how it looks marking my place ....

I also created a standard bookmark.

Now it's your turn!  I hope you will play along with us at Speedy Fox & Friend's challenge !

Stamp Set used:
Glad Glads
One lucky participant in this week's challenge will receive "Buried Treasure"!
Thanks for looking and have a GREAT weekend!!!

Supplies used:  Paper: MFP 140 lb Premium White, Blu Raspberry, Basic Grey Serendipity.  Acces: Spellbinders Lacy Squares.  MS lace border punch, Fishtail flags, and for the standard bookmark Spellbinders labels 4.

  3. Both bookmarks are really gorgeous. I love the blue and brown on the corner mark and we were on the same page with that one. The regular one is pretty, too, I like how you colored the flower on the white.

  4. These are both such pretty bookmarks, and I love that you did two different varieties! I just love turquoise and brown together, and the sentiment on the first is just perfect for a bookmark! Well done!
