Welcome to the last day of Mark's Finest Papers & Stamps May release!  Today we are featuring the set, "Now Showing".  Oh my, did I ever have fun with this one!

First I stamped the film image on vellum.
Next I used alcohol reinkers to drop ink onto the vellum.  (The photo above shows the ink remains from a trial piece of film.)

All inked up.  This curls up just like the negatives from our non-digital cameras!
I selected four photos, resized them, printed them out and attached them to my film.  A truly one of a kind card to give to someone special!

For my next card I decided to create a movie gift card holder card.  I colored and cut out the fun movie image then popped it up over the top of the GC holder.

Here is the GC holder empty showing the pretty yellow pocket.

  14. Angie,
What a wonderful job on the film strip. You're right - it really resembles the old negative strips from the non-digi cameras. Very pretty. And, your second card is wonderful - pretty pocket for the gift card!
